The database already has the Delaware State Fair and the Iowa State Fair, so if those are fair game I don't see why Oktoberfest wouldn't be. I'm not really sure if it's spelled out anywhere what is and isn't allowed to be submitted, as I've see several user-submitted "coasters" that are actually Larson loops and Zamperla Disk-Os.
I desperately need volunteers to help clean up the database.

Is there a way to populate the database with information from RCDB similar to what coast2coaster must be doing? It seems like a massive duplication of effort to try to maintain another database here when a complete one already exists.
coaster-count.com uses RCDB as a data source for fixed parks – so it's definitely possible.
I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.
Duane works pretty hard on keeping that up to date. That seems like an awkward conversation next time I see him at IAAPA.
This one is community driven, and it's just more an issue of what is marked as "approved" and verified. I imagine I could set up a system where long time members could "vote" them into approval. Steve Perry has contributed a ton, thus a lot of points without a lot of posts (see his activity feed).

So is it ok to add the coasters and park to the database? I see RavenPhile has moved ahead of me in the points and I can't have that.
Hi
You don't get points for adding unless I approve the listing.
Go ahead and create an Oktoberfest "park," and add the rides to that "park."

I don't think I've ever contributed anything but forum noise and I'm 10 points out of 4th place. Quick, 10 people like this post quick before RCMAC does something useful.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

forum noise
That's my presence here in a nutshell, aside from submitting a handful of pictures to the database and a news piece every once in a blue moon. Somehow I have a considerably high score-to-posts ratio.
My noise kicks your noise's ass.
The funny thing is that the database can and does accommodate moved coasters, showing them as the same ride, but because of the math it does on the opening/closing year, it can't exist simultaneously in more than one place.

I find it a little weird that y'all even keep track of the top 10. I marginally keep track of which of my posts get +1'd just so I can go find which of my posts were in threads I cared about (or if a joke I made actually landed), but I couldn't tell you a thing about where I fall in the top N.
There's a list on the home page. I'm filtered out because I have 90k+ points since I submit most of the news these days.

I may have known such a list existed. But I had no idea how to find it. I always access the site through recent posts not the homepage. Put "scoring game" in search box and found a thread from 9-10 years ago. It didn't provide helpful info about finding the list (I now see its on the homepage) but what I posted above is a quoted post of Andy's in that old thread. Just thought it was funny given what he said about being 10 points out of 4th place.
