That's why I said GCI woodie ;)
Well true a GCI would compliment the park, So would a Gravity Group Coaster of which they already consult with for many projects. Not just coasters.
Chuck, who thinks this is cruel and unusual torcher for those of us who already love HW.
So yes, it needs to be a GCII ;)

probably be another unthrilling woodie. I may go again if they get a intamin jr. hyper.
Unthrilling?? Are you referring to the Raven and the Legend being unthrilling?? Have you even BEEN to Holiday World??

Steel, obviously you haven't been following the Beast Tamer saga.
Obviously not, since I just found this site a couple of days ago. Please...enlighten me! :)
I just noticed there is a 10 post quota, is that just me or everyone? *** Edited 4/22/2005 4:24:44 AM UTC by Beast Tamer***
But to put it shortly, he hates Raven and Legend and thinks they are pieces of poop while his favorite coaster is SOB.

^ I like my coasters fast and intense. a 100' woodie is not thrilling imo. If that is a crime, i am guilty as sin
I could make a slightly humorous reply to that, but I believe I will wait until I get a feel for what is and isnt appropriate on this board! LOL
Not steering too far from this forum topic, I think a steel coaster is just what the doctor ordered for HW, but can they really afford it? While most people love the raven and the legend, it never strikes me as a high-profit place. I guess I could be mistaken, but I'm sure whatever they come up with will be great!
There are several varieties of steel coasters that I would love to see them add, but a huge monstrosity jutting out from the trees is not something I want to see. I would love to see a launched coaster similar to Powderkeg winding it's way through the woods or a mine train.
That said, if they DID build a large steel coaster I'd still go and enjoy myself.
Another small, but important, decision that reflects the tremendous HW experience....

It helps that the fellas from Gravity Group have already become acquainted with the park:

And though I sound like I am repeating what others have pointed out, a long terrain coaster nestled in the woods sounds reasonable, what with the "surgical" removal of trees that Paula hinted at.
I wonder if she will even respond to this thread, or just let us keep building the mystery ourselves. Hell, she's probably kickin back right now just loving how the thread can have 35 responses in 2 hours :)
They certainly aren't doing it for a single flat or even a few flats. It could be for a master blaster or another type of water slide. Or they could be starting a whole new area of HW. But I'd think they'd want a big attraction if they are opening up a new 'land'.
I'll say it again, how about a S&S launched terrain coaster that is everything that Rita should have been. Loads of airtime hills and turns twisting through the woods. *** Edited 4/22/2005 4:56:24 AM UTC by Incidentalist***
