"PARK RE-ENTRY: Same-day re-entry is not allowed.".......this from SFA website!

.

Their website has been updated since I posted my original message. Most likely Monday morning. Oh by the way, some other changes to wording were made as well. Example:

RULE BREAKING: To ensure a fun, safe, family environment for all our Guests, we ask that you adhere to the Park Policies above. Guests who "break the rules" will be ejected from the Park without a refund. We appreciate your cooperation.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Hmm...I just checked the Internet Archive-Wayback Machine.

It appears that Coaster Lover is right (at least somewhat), that page has been updated (and apparently recently since October 10, 2004 is the last tracked change of that page).

But, that being said, the IAWM is only as good as the system that does the checking. Obviously, there has been a change (whether recent or not) and the IAWM hasn't caught it.

Yeah, the same policy is posted on the Great Adventure park policy page under Food, beverages, and coolers. This is insane!!! There are gonna be so many complaints about this!

Hmmm. Very interesting.

The SFMM page used to have a paragraph about re-entry that has since disappeared.

They're not saying you can't re-enter, but they did take away the info that says you can.

Wonders how that will work at GAdv with the separate gates for the Theme Park, Hurricane Harbor and the Safari? If you leave one you can't go to the other and then come back? I think someone in management is going to have to rethink that idea at GAdv or find a way to connect them all.

Odd fact on GADv's page

SEASON PASSES
All Season Passholders MUST present their pass to gain entrance to the park. When leaving, get your hand stamped before you exit and re-enter through the Same Day Re-Entry Gate. Season Passes are not transferable.

I thought this was a joke as well.

When you start treating your customers as criminals, your not thinking about your guest's best interest.

I really wonder what promted this. Is it people leaving to eat and drink, or is it for security?

Anyone still think Snyder & Company is a good thing?

If stuff like this sticks, it seems they 'get it' even less than the old bosses.

You know what really stinks about this...

If travelling, you spend 10 am to 3pm at the park. Go back to the hotel for a little rest, come back around 7pm and stay to close...

Guess this shoots that idea all to hell.

Its starting to look like regular tickets at Great Adventure will not include admission to wild safari either.

What it seems like is that they are making things like park re-entry and stuff like that season pass perks.

Not sure what you are trying to say...

Currently the website reads...

PARK RE-ENTRY: If you wish to leave the park and return on the same day, you MUST have your hand stamped at the exit. If you leave the park grounds via your vehicle, retain your parking ticket for same day re-admittance.

LOL, The site changed again!

It did say what is in the quote earlier today

Watch the tram car please....
Methinks someone needs to make up their mind... ;)

Yeah, that might have just come out subconsciously. (given the Camp Snoopy discussion)

Maybe they're sending out a whole mess of "red herrings" to see which ones sink and which ones swim? ;)

I want my consultancy fee! :)

Also, Matt named Holiwood Nights and got free admission to the event....what do I get for *pegging* the idea that they're referring to PARKING re-entry and not PARK re-entry? Nada, Dan Snyder gives NOTHING away...LOL!

LOL @ the constant "Six Flags policy" watch that happening at all the coaster websites. Is this really that big of an issue? or are we just that bored...

I wish I was in charge of updating the website, I'd have some serious fun with you guys.

It is a huge issue for me if they decide to enforce it.

So much that you spend your day worrying about it? Running back and forth to the website? (not you in particular). This seems a little extreme to me, but I digress.
