"Sir, may I go to my car and get my Mom's insulin? She's a diabetic."
"Yes, but you can't come back into the park once you leave so take Mom with you."
Not only is the rumor hilariously bad but I can't believe [although maybe I shouldn't be shocked] that some people actually think it's true!
And to AJrides
Before you call someone out of their name, please make sure you don't make yourself look like an A$$ because you are too slow to understand why people call Six Flags Sux Flags.
SUX = Sucks just in case you are still too slow! *** Edited 1/9/2006 3:41:56 PM UTC by Magicmike***
As we were attending the EVENT, we were allowed to re-park without paying, but I think VL was really going to give that policy a shot...
And I think THAT may be what SF is thinking about....and even though it's a potential PR nightmare, it is theoretically do-able.
Due to Parker's thought, here's the reason I'm willing to *consider* the "no re-park policy"....SFNJ would be the IDEAL park to try it out.
Always thought that was a bad policy, but never had any reason to leave the park and return anyhow.
Nonetheless, PR-wise, it's near-disastrous to charge someone $10 to park, give them a ticket for a parking space, and then tell them it's not valid for the entire day...
Scratch that, it's not near-distatrous, it IS disastrous. If implemented, the price paid by the parks in terms of bad customer relations will FAR outweigh any benefit in double-parking-fees.

I agree. This would certainly help with the drinking and drug problems throughout the day in the parking lot. It would also reduce in-park security related issues and make for a much better park experience for those that weren't ticked off over the no rentry policy to begin with.
However, I'm fairly certain this is just a rumor.

I'm not sure how it is in other parts, but around my city no in and out privileges is a standard condition in any pay parking lot - downtown, suburban, or anywhere else. I don't think public perception would be that bad because when it comes to pay lots most people don't think they are allowed in and out anyway.
