Now who would do a think like that, Greg? Surely not me ;)

I think that Greg pretty much nailed it on the head when it comes to Screamscape. I think that when it comes to actual, factual news, it's a great website for getting all of the latest industry stuff gathered in one place, three times a week. Now a lot of a time, stuff that is rumor is labeled as such but other times (such as this latest bit with Cedar Point) isn't, so you have to pretty much take anything that isn't posted as fact with a grain of salt. He should just cover his butt and list anything that isn't substantiated as rumor. It just kind of pisses me off when I see everyone dumping on the site, when for me it's a great source for the latest news that I don't see elsewhere. As long as you take the right news seriously ;)
I think I would like Screamscape were it to, as you said, differentiate fact from possible fiction, and if the layout was better. I don't like the way he has it laid out. Sometimes you get the latest news from a park on the top paragraph, sometimes you have to scroll down, it makes no sense to me, therefore I don't visit often.
Screamscape is as reliable as they get for rumors. Sure, they've been off, but the have also been on many times. As for CP, I hope they don't get a coaster in 2006. I can name several things I'd like to see over another record breaker...such as a Soak City expansion, a classic dark ride, a Topple Tower combined with another flat or two, a Mean Streak total rehab, etc. I'll be happy with a coaster in 2007.
