Does anyone know when of if there is going to be a third RCT expansion pack soon? I'm just wanted to see if there was any word on that.

Why come up with RCT2 when you can expand RCT1? What will that leave us with? After buying the game and all of the expansion packs, I have spent about $70 in total for the game.

It's $70 well spent though. I also read RCT just went back to the #1 PC game spot. Not bad for a game thts been out for two years. I think if it stays at #1 or even top 10 we could see another expansion pack. As long as theres public intrest in the game I'm sure they will keep it going.

RCT2 wouldn't do anything to the original, but fix problems that have been encountered by players and update it with more rides. Kinda like CoasterBuzz did. Out with the yellow-green, in with the black-white. Same game just updated.:)

If there is gonna be another Expansion pack I just hope they jam it full w/ flat rides and maybe 2 new coasters, that being Arrow 4D and Intamin Box track for gigas w/ steeper lift hills and elivater lifts. also maybe a create a scnerio feature.

Don't mess with the X in 01
if they do creat a new expansion pack, they should incorparate a lot of flat rides! Also, they should include arcades, because afterall, most parks make a lot of money off of arcades. Also, as well as including an arrow 4d an intamin giga coaster they should include a sky coaster. Also, they should have like a season pass shop. Only instead of getting admission to the park, if you buy the pass you get unlimited, free acces to all the rides. The one big thing that RCT needs is a custom scenario. One wher, if you want you can have all the rides, and land!
I think that if they do come out with rct2 it should have a place where you buy rides but it wouldn't have tabs that just say roller coaster, thrill rides and food. It would say the real life desiners for example the tabs would say Arrow, B&M and intamin and under there names it would have the coasters or rides that they make in real life.
I think that they need more realistic stuff, like fights, line jumping, ride ops, and stuff like that.

I always thought it would be neat to control the park at night, and place lights everywhere and such. Perhaps those lamps along the pathways would actually be put to some use. Also an offseason would be nice, where you would have discounted prices for construction (of course there would be an option to just skip the offseason). Just some ideas that popped into my head.
It would also be cool if you could ride your own rides. Or better yet pick a guest and select first-person view. Then you can control the guest using the arrow keys on the keyboard or something like that.
did anybody notice this, but in LL, Alton Towers, near the Corkscrew coaster, there is a message written in the shrubs. U must remove some of the trees to see them though. Second, in CF, Geafforey Gardens, there is 3 initials written in the 'blueberry' patch, which is near the area w/ all the giraffes.
Ya that would be pretty awsome if you could ride your own rides,also if you could rotate the views up and down,but that probaly would be too much trouble for them to design.But they must include arcade games,giga coasters,and 4D coasters,but the $ds should let you be hyper with giant inversions!
PS:to JB842,ya I did notice that it does say a messge right next to the Corkscrew,i think it says like jeff or something?I dont know!

I beleive it says "John Wardley", the famous designer and creator of that park. (In RCT and some of the rides in real life).

No one even knows if there will be a 3rd expansion pack, furthermore when it will happen.
I think an RCT2 is a better idea then another expansion. Think of all the things the developers have learned during the life of RCT. They could make so many tremendous improvements that just aren't be possible in an expansion. Maybe if we yell loud enough someone will listen.
RCT2... RCT2... RCT2... RCT2... RCT2... RCT2...

Do you realize all the the problems that creates?
Our old save games, our track designs, all of these would be lost.
Choices:
1) Don't get RCT2 and play your old save games
2) Get RCT2 and loose everything you've done since 1999
Expansion pack or nothing!!!!!
