3 coaster deal with B&M and a 3 coaster deal with Intamin. Cedar Point put their 3rd B&M coaster aside to get the newer and more innovative Intamin designs. Now that there's really nothing more that Intamin can do for CP, they are reportedly going to finish off the contract with B&M.
ITS. NOT. TRUE.
There is no deal, get over it.
I personally think we will see a few more wooden coasters next year, as there are alot of parks in need of good and/or new wood(Carowinds? CP? PKD?).
I am anxious as to see if it really is a B&M 4D @ Port Aventura. But if it ends up being the largest Dive Machine, I won't be that suprised;).

A woodie could be the "latest and greatest". It just depends on what they did with the design. They could potentially do a lot. I mean, a woodie with a launch, various inversions, higher hills, any number of things that you could work into a steel coaster could be worked into a woodie, depending on what it was.
Yeah, let's build more wooden roller coasters like SOB. After all, it was a HUGE success wasn't it? Woodies do not need to be that tall or do anything fancy that a steel roller coaster does. See Raven and Legend. Woodies are purely unique on their own in what they do with just going 100 feet in the air and having a nice mix of laterals, airtime, and other elements. NOT inversions or launches that wouldn't work.
