New types of rollercoasters.

Hey everyone. We all heard rumors that there will be new rollercoasters arriving at certain parks in 2005 or even in the next several years. So what type of rollercoaster would you like to see appear at your park in the near future? Personally, I'd like to see a flying coaster by B&M at CP and a nice Hyper go in at Michigans Adventure.

If this violates the TOS feel free to remove it. No worries, just an innocent question. I am sorry if this violates any rules set. *** Edited 3/23/2004 10:14:49 PM UTC by Kyle Fobe***

What kind of coaster would I like to see next at SFMM? Easy: flat rides!

Lol...yeah they are in a definite need for some of those. Seems like SFGam is getting alot this year though. So maybe SFMM will next year.

Certain victory.

Why spend money on a bulldozer? SF is too cheap for that! They rather wait for the next Earthquake! and where are the smileys?

I want to see an inverted coaster made entirely from wood. ;)

You mean they haven't done that yet? I heard KBF's new inverted coaster was gonna be like that!
You're kidding right Kyle?

I would like to see a floorless put in at SFGAm then we would have every type of B&M except a Dive Machine.

Also I would like to see something new added to SFKK. I know we already have a launched shuttle loop but an Intamin Impluse would be nice, and maybe SF will realize that they need to tear down T2 and we could get a B&M invert or I'd prefer Maybe a twister or floorless if SF could get some $ for it.

I'm sure this has been thought of, but I've never heard of a spinning looper being built. Maybe next on the drawing boards?

There are rumors going around that Cedar Point is in the works for their third B&M coaster (as per their 3 coaster deal with B&M). It is supposedly a custom B&M Flyer. Name, specs, and location are not even speculated yet. I personally have no idea where they're going to put another large coaster. I think it would be nice however to have a totally new breed of coaster sitting at CP. I mean I love Intamin coasters as much as the next junkie but there are so many different options that are still being untapped due to the height wars that are going on.

There is no '3 coaster deal' between CP and B&M.

Maurer Söhne´s new extreme coasters are designed to have spinning cars to go through inversions. They have an optional spinning car-design that features 6 passengers sitting in their floorless seats, facing outwards. Those cars are about to be tested traversing inversions while spinning!
I don´t know if they have already done that or what the results are, but it would certainly be great fun.

Go here:

Then click "Extended Rollercoaster", "x-car", and then "variants". But make sure to check all other sites they offer as well (especially the "x-tracks).

Flight of Fear is the exact same ride as Jokers Jinx, except it's enclosed. I think PKI's next coaster should be a good terrain inverted, ala Nemesis.

But then again, what do I know?

I think PKI needs a new wooden coaster. HA! Actually, CP needs to tear down Mean Streak and build a better wooden coaster in its place, like something from Great Coasters. Not a record breaker, just a nice large, fast, and intense woody filled with airtime. This will never happen, but after riding all of CP's outstanding steel coasters all day, I need some change of pace, and the two Streaks just don't cut it.
