The 4D coaster actually looks pretty good to me and is very detailed. There are only a few spots were the transitions are really rough, but other than that it looks great. I am really liking the looks of this game.
I think it looks great. I like the zoomed out shot from the top of the Thrust Air. I was just looking at that pic closer and it appears to me that they have Vertigo right beside the TA2K! In one of the other pics I think I saw one of those swings with the fins on the back of them (I forget their names). Keep the screen shots coming! *** Edited 4/17/2004 10:24:21 PM UTC by CPgenius***
The second screenshot has that South American, Incan god staue thingy from WW.
I wonder how many of the scenery pieces (especially from the addons) were modeled in 3D and converted for the addons. I seem to remember reading somewhere that much of RCT (and RCT2's) graphics were originally done in 3D. Makes me wonder how much of that is going to be slapped in as scenery pieces for this.
Or was that the plan all along and the WW and TT addons were just attempts to cash in and gauge response to the items?
Just thinking aloud (or in text).
And yes, it does look like an Aboslutely Insane (or VertiGo) ride in the one screen shot.
One thing that i did notice in the one screen shot is that the tea cup ride looks like a unique ride with a roof like WDW's tea cup ride. I would like to see it in action to know whether or not it is a repainted scrambler, but it does leave some hope of new content.

And with all of the crying you'll all buy it anyway.
Duh yea ;), I'm just saying that I like the old graphics better.
The woodie I can live with, but I hope they turn the 4D around. Everything else was awesome though. I especially liked that huge Moroccan looking building with the coaster running through it. Beautiful. Can't wait.

The graphics look really N-64-ish. I don't understand why the graphics can't be as good as they are in X-box. I mean, I know some PCs couldn't handle it, but it would be nice. Or if they just made one for X-box that would be great. Too bad I don't have any platforms to play it on.
N64 ish? I don't think so. If you want it to look incredibley real, with every nut and bolt found in real rides depicted accurately, and perfect peeps looking as human as possible, down to their acme scars, then you best rent some computer time at Pixar. What does wishing it look like Xbox graphics mean? As an Xbox owner myself, I can bet it wouldn't handle this level of detail without some sacrifices. It has a great 3D card, but the processor speed is about what the minumum requirements are for the PC version, and we know minimum requirements usually translates to ...experiencing it at its crapiest.
