Sounds like this game would use that same concept and let you accept mini-missions to accomodate large groups and keep them happy.
I think this is exactly what RCT needs and it will make the game play consistently and variously interactive. I give HUGE props to this development team on RCT3 for making this game far beyond what I would have ever imagined.
Also, has anyone else never seen elevators as part of paths at a real park, or am I just misunderstanding with this is?
It sounds good... but it also sounds like they want to milk this out for any money they can get on consumers with the expansion packs.
Why not give us the rides & themes in the game now, considering it's many months from relase? Because they can't make money off of it that way. I'm assuming they want to use this game similar how the Sims had all these expansion packs & more announced before the prior one was released.
The original RCT I don't think was planned with any expansion packs (until the popularity caught on & soared).
Either way... I'm sold.
I can't wait to make my first launched coaster at 100mph, right off the track & smash into a crowded midway! ;)
Let's see what the lawyers will do to me then.
(But more on the way, chances are people are going to start asking for more modes, like sunrise, sunset, fog, and almost everything that we see in the sky. :))
I'm very happy to hear that it will indeed have day/night modes.
I can think of one coaster I've been on that has an elevator HC5 @ pavalion, cause the lift is so high up.
CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!
Now, since they're taking this game to a whole new level with realism and everything (I mean, come on, lawyers for ride accidents!) - do you think there could be the slightest possibility for sexual harrasment suits involving the costumed theme park entertainers and guests like we've read about oh so many times already? ;)
Ocean Park in Hong Kong has the worlds longest escalator to transport guest up and down a 400 ft. mountain!
