Well obviously that would be Tyler. Oh, I'm sorry. I thought that said most prolific writers. My bad.
He wasn't asking that. Get over yourself. Not every thread is about you. Seriously, it's summer, go outside and play.

I think we all know who THE most prolific rider is. I am probably second, or not far from second, but I am *way* behind Richard...
Then again, I've stopped counting and rating, so my opinions are pretty much what you get from the forums. If anyone wants to know anything specific about "out of the way" parks and rides in the US, I'm always happy to help (or hurt, depending)... ;~)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
I am pretty proud of my 152 coasters so far, even though it's nothing compared to some people here. I wonder what the number is where votes are not counted.

Count me in as someone who would be interested to see who is on the list. I'm sure it's lengthy, but just for entertainment purposes, I'd like to see where I stack up.
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
Just start clicking on some profiles.
Should be able to get an idea of where your count falls pretty quickly.
I was trying to take the lazy approach. ;)

I don't think Leviathan has been it's debut in the Top 100 yet. I would think that it would rank super high once it gets enough riders. Maybe even place in the Top 10. That is one great ride!
This topic has prompted me to update my list and ratings for the first time in about a year. I already had Wild Eagle counted. But, I didn't have it rated. That has been remedied.

The track record doesn't work for me, when i click on it, it says you have no coasters in your track record. It doesn't give me any way to set up my track record!
I stopped adding coasters that aren't in my top 25 or in "general consensus" top 25's that aren't in mine. I don't care at all about the most recent mediocre woodie, B:TR or Boomerang I've ridden. I'm pretty sure that even with what I have entered in my track record, I comfortably land in the top half. (350+ IRL, 315 or so on CBuzz).

153 ;)
You have to go to the coasters in the park and coaster databases and click the "+" buttons on them to add rides. The instructions say so.

I do it a different way than what the instruction say. I click "Amusement Parks" at the top of the page, then I look for the park that has the coasters that I want to add and click it, then I click the check mark on the photo of the ride that I want to add.
It's fun and easy.

I was surprised to see that Gemini and Blue Streak at Cedar Point were not on the list. Not because they are great coasters, but due to the sheer mass of people on here who must have been on them. They say that Gemini has probably given more coaster rides than any other roller coaster on the planet. A quote from a previous roller coaster program. (Don't ask which)
I also notice that Big Bad Wolf is still on the list, even though it no longer exists. It's too bad too, because that was one of my many reason for wanting to go to BGE. That and Alpinegeist and Apollo's Chariot.
Didn't notice if Mean Streak was on there. I hope not.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
Just like reasonable polls, this one accounts for ridership when computing results. If 10,000,000 experienced riders vote Gemini a 3-star ride, it gets 3 stars. If 10 experienced riders vote it a 3-star ride, it gets 3 stars.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
The poll also excludes votes from people who have ridden a relatively small number of coasters. The person whose only experience at amusement parks is limited to, say, parks in Ohio, simply doesn't matter (at least as to the poll results).
Parallel lines on a slow decline.
Lots of movement on the July 1st update. Seems everyone has been taking a look at their track records.
Just to update last week's post:
GateKeeper dropped to 34 after debuting at 22.
Cheetah Hunt moved up a spot to 95 after last week's debut at 96.
This week Lakeside's Cyclone made it's first appearance on the list at #75.
(this all works best if you read it in a Casey Kasem voice)
And now, on with the countdown. :)
Technically, the "new" indicator doesn't mean that it's the first time in the top 100. It could in theory drop off and come back based on the dynamics of how many people are ranking. Usually it only happens near the bottom though.
