New Coaster Toy: Six Flags Cool Coasters

Thanks, SFNE Dude! I used all of the track pieces that came with it, but only 4 of the support columns and 5 of the support beams. I still had 3 support coulmns and 2 support beams left over, so I could've added a bit more support to make it more stable, but it didn't really need it, and I didn't want to cover up anymore of the "theme" than necessary.

As soon as I have a few more sets, and enough room to build a larger coaster, I'm thinking about doing one with some serious themeing! A little papier mache should work wonders for these things! I may cheat a little and use a few prefab model railroad props for tunnels and stuff, but I'd really like to make something along the lines of Nemesis at Alton Towers! I'll let everyone know when it's finished. :)

I bought it and its so fun to play with, unfortunatly I didn't do my honors physics because I was having so much fun.

Ohh well, I still had a study hall the next day.

Funny story. My car came through the launch thing too fast and went around a sharp curve. The people then came flying out flew about three and a half feet until they were stopped by a wall. oopps.

For those on the east side of Cleveland, BJ's Wholesale Club at Richmond and I-271 has them for $20. I liberated two sets, and now my living room has been overrun with red rails and wobbling supports.

If this were the Renaissance, Six Flags would be Vekoma's chief patron (not that SLCs are masterpieces, anyway).

Does anyone else have pictures of it? Since I can't get one of my own I would like to look at other peoples sets.

I got one at Walmart myself. I wrote a letter to Toy Works and they said www.kbtoys.com sells it. Do a search for Six Flags.

Wow I never knew Six Flags had so much merchandise.
They have alot of water stuff that has nothing to do with coasters or theme parks which is kind of odd.

i have been with walmart 4 some time and worked at a few. no, the dont all get the same things within 24 hrs. no not all stores carry the same items. yes, they do send out test items(and are noted on the recieving packaging slips, i worked in the back room), so it is possible that only a had full of walmarts have the item. it may have been a one time deal. it may have been a local vendor sending in the item. who knows. we'll all have 2 just wait and see

I've found it! I've found it! My local Walmart finally has it. It was in the model aisle in the toy department. It's a pretty cool toy but it has some disadvantages. I can't seem to make a coaster without the train hitting the supports. Does anyone have a solution to this? When I finally did make a coaster the booster couldn't boost it around the track. It looses speed quickly do to the plastic track. Otherwise it's worth 20 bucks. I'm not sure if I'll get a second set though.

When I make an awesome coaster I'll try to get pics. It might be hard though since I don't have a scanner. I can use my Logitech quick cam on my computer but it has a short wire.

I just bought one today in Clinton New Jersey which isn't a Supercenter but they have about 12 of the Viper and Ninja sets. I also have the problem with it hitting the supports.

all you do is move them over or you can also move the support "bar," down or up hope this helps, and if it is a inverted coaster the bend in the bar should be up and on a sitting the bend should be down.

i found them at KB toy stores in NY, especially Long Island, they are selling for $24.99.

TeknoScropion, I was missled by an assistant manager and what you said is true. Oh well no big deal I guess. Anyways, my set once agin got destroyed, this time by a small flood. I guess its time to buy more sets and build one better.

My set is the viper and ninja set. What other sets do they have? How are they different? I just built a new coaster. It has two inversions. They are a vertical loop and a barrel roll. It's pretty cool. Is it worth buying another set?

The Walmart I bought mine at isn't a supercenter either. I guess all the non-supercenters just got them in.

I think one set is enough because I'm impressed with the value of the set but the actual coaster pretty much sucks. Theres not enough track to do much or supports. They also have a Revolution and Mind Eraser set. There are 12 sets in all according to the box but the only ones that have been spotted are Ninja,Viper and Mind Eraser,Revolution.

One other complaint I forgot to mention is that it goes through the whole course at what seems like 120 mph. By the way the models say they are replicas but they are not even close. A 2 year old could have done a better model even a person who has no idea what the layout to the coasters are could have done better.

Well to make actual replicas you would need like four sets. This is a kids toy. Most kids don't know these coasaters exist never mind the layouts of them.

I haven't seen the Mind Eraser, Revolution set. Is it the same price? Where does it say collect all twelve on the box?

I hate how it goes so fast too. It goes like 120 mph after the booster but then it goes so slow.

I havent seen the Mind Eraser , Revolution set but my friend said he saw it and then there is another post on here so I'm assuming its true. Also my box doesn't say it my friends does and he bought his at a Wal Mart to but for some reason it had a sticker that said collect all twelve next to the new toy sticker.

The mind eraser set and the revolution set are the same they will be comming out around wal mart and kmart(the e-mail from bestpals said this) The other sets are comming out closer and closer to christmas. One other thing, I like this toy very much and its not supposed to be exactly the same as the coaster it just give younger kids an idea!
