New coaster at SFMM?

Hey I was there at SFMM today, 06-11-05, and I saw aqua color suports by the parking lot, and I know the rumor was that a flying coaster was going to be build on top of Samurai Sumit. So, I went to Sumurai Sumit and there was a section of it closed with a sing of "building for future enjoyment". What do you guys think, are they geting ready to build a new coaster or what?
Are you sure you saw supports? I'm a firm member in "believe it when I see pix" association. Not that I don't believe that Samurai Sumit was blocked off, or that SFMM is getting something next year...

;)

Well even if this is true I can't follow their train of thought. I mean, I've never been to the place, but how often do they operate ALL of their current coasters, and when they are operating with more than one train in everything? Are they really ready for another one? Maybe someone more experienced with MM can enlighten me. *** Edited 6/12/2005 5:09:06 AM UTC by Raging_Bull*** *** Edited 6/12/2005 5:09:28 AM UTC by Raging_Bull***
I heard that they were going to be getting a 500 foot rocket coaster. No lie.

If I'm not allowed to post to that I'm sorry, I just thought it was relevant to the topic.

I'm sure they were supports. I could not take a pic cause I didn't have a camera. They were Aqua color and they look thick. I saw them from the station of Scream. So if anyone goes check it out and let me know what you think.
well that link basically just points to a thread filled with more rumors.
All of Samurai Summit was not bloked off, it was just a section betwen Ninja and The "something" Dragon restaurant. It's the section by the Asain "Theme" Garden.
Sorry. I was just browsing sites and I saw that, it's kind of humorous actually. :)

Is AquaMan a property SF has rights to? J/K, LOL! :)
Hey I just spoke to my friends sister and she has been working at SFMM for years and she told me that they are getting a new coaster and it is a Flying Coaster...so I hope they annouce it soon. This is what I saw, so I hope I'm right!
great, another coaster with 1 train operation 3 days a week at Tragic Mountain
Here's a link to a site which shows the blocked off area:

I seriously hope it's for something other than a coaster, but I've also heard the flyer rumors. :(

Kyle, that link requires you to be 'logged in' to the site. I won't sign up just for that, but I thought I'd let everyone know that you can't view unless you're a registered member.

As for SFMM, Magic 8 Ball says...

;)

Oh sorry :(...I forgot I was a member...I have an old login still logged in lol.

Why have more kids when you cant feed and clothe the ones you already have?

The only time I was at SFMM, 3 of their coasters didn't run the whole day. That annoys me to no end.

I was at SFMM on Friday, June 3rd. First of all, all of the rides were running, and with more than one train running on each one. It was great! Second, the "Japanese Garden" on Samurai Summit was closed off (not nearly a large enough area for a coaster). Third, while riding up the lift hill on Viper, I looked to my right (and a bit behind) and saw a sizeable plot of land cleared off (looked like prep work to me). So, if something is being built, that's probably where it is going (just up the hill from Viper).

Scooterdoug - the land to the right of Viper is not owned by the park. Homes are being built there.

The Samarai Summit area is large enough for a spinning coaster like SFNE got.

I bet the people who move in to those homes will copmlain about the noise of the park and X will never run again.
I was also at magic mountain yesterday. I also saw those same aqua colored supports
