It's that duration of forces, not to mention the precise and delicate balance of said forces, that make me want to ride Diamondback over and over again. It's all that and a bag of chips.
They gave you a bag of chips after your ride? Dang....I feel kinda cheated! ;)
^Really! I had 3 rides without leaving the station, I could have used a bag of chips by then. Instead, I nearly lost my flip flops (you are not allowed to ride barefoot on Diamondback). I held them after that first nearly shoe-loosing ride.

Re: seating configuration. Might be me....but I'd take SFoG's Golaith, and even Apollo, over Behemoth, D-Back, or I-232. For me, the 4-across trains seem to give more intense "moments". Obviously, a lot of you prefer a more sustained float than an aggressive POP of airtime...
Generally, yes, I am a huge fan of the crazy extended lengths of airtime given by rides like Diamondback. Of course, the ride design and flow sets that up as well. On a long ride like Diamondback where most of the track length is used going up and down large hills as opposed to other things such as high-force turns, inversions, etc. I feel like I "get more" from that ride if the forces are sustained and extended.
Just one of the many crazy ways I evaluate a ride. :)

They had bags of chips on the media day for Diamondback. Sorry if you missed out.

Not to mention the really good BBQ spread they had for us!
That was a great time... DB really wore me out though, quickly.
Diamondback sucks. It was the lamest of the B&M hypers I've been on. Rode both front and back, and I'm not in any hurry to jump back on it.

You need to close your eyes and use your imagination.
Diamondback is a dopey turtle show. :)

Great... a slideshow of all the pictures publicly available, set to Maroon 5.
This made me chuckle. :)
It funny you say that. I was searching for construction updates, found this video, checked wonderland's website and all I could get was this video. Then about five hours later wonderland updates there gallery. *shrugs shoulders* Meh!

What's a "fan goer?" Is that anything like Fangoria? :)

Its a made up expression. My English teacher told me to be creative one day, and I mean the sky was the limit from that day on. That's when my career took off and I got successful, lmao!!! ;)
^^Oh Fangoria! The subscription my mother would never let me get when I was a kid. Had to stick to coaster stuff. Ahhh... the days loooong before the internet.
^I bought it on the newsstand. I stopped buying it when it 6-7 bucks an issue. Used to attend their Weekend Of Horrors Conventions in NYC.
