Lift/Drop Complete!
^Actually... it is funny, but I just double checked and I am incorrect. Depending on how you count them, Leviathan has 9 hills - Behemoth has 10.
That new little GCI Big Fun woodie has 15 :) Voyage has about... 25 or so.
Im going out on a limb here, please don't cut off my head cause it hurts when people do that, but Leviathan kind of has the same first half as Millennium Force. The hundred plus foot drop, heavily banked right turn, a little hop at high speeds to the left, not quite as hard banked to the left as millie, lol, and a huge airtime hill. Can you see it?? ;)
Im crazy just say it............I cant take it. Please, put me out of my misery.
^We all have a little crazy in us (it's a sliding scale) - I mean, we are hanging out talking endlessly about coasters on the inter-web.
Yes, there are similarities. Millennium Force has over 1,100 feet and 3 tunnels on Leviathan, though :(
The similarities between Leviathan and Millennium Force have been discussed before, I think even in this thread.

But Levianthan's trains will (should?) impart forces on to the riders MUCH more effectively than the ones on Behemoth.
I've gotta disagree with you there. I haven't been on Behemoth, but my experience with the longer trains (on Diamondback) is that the duration of the forces are much longer than those on the shorter trains (Nitro, Apollo, Bull). None of the short-train coasters caused me to feel that I had to limit riding, but Diamondback certainly did.

Having been on both, I can confirm this. The forces at the bottoms/tops of the hills last a long time

I would trade 3 tunnels, for B&M clamshell restraints 8 days a week. There is still Leviathan "surprises" yet to come. Tunnels could still occur.
It's that duration of forces, not to mention the precise and delicate balance of said forces, that make me want to ride Diamondback over and over again. It's all that and a bag of chips.

Leviathan has -1 tunnels? Sweet! ;)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

:) hehehehhe Ok ok... Millennium Force has 2 tunnels on Leviathan.
Agree with Jeff and jonnytips on the forces. The airtime lasts so long on Diamondback it's ridiculous, and I love it. The forces on the pullouts are equally sustained. Diamondback is my favorite coaster in terms of airtime because of the amazing sustain of it over the hills.
Original BlueStreak64
Both Diamondback and Behemoth feel the same, force wise. The longer trains do have a strong duration of positive and negative forces due to the way the hills were designed, which has been changed since the "Nitro" days.
I am looking forward to this ride, big time. I loved Behemoth, even more then Diamondback which was a total suprise to me. To have both of these coasters in one park is just awesome. I will be there in spring!
Re: seating configuration. Might be me....but I'd take SFoG's Golaith, and even Apollo, over Behemoth, D-Back, or I-232. For me, the 4-across trains seem to give more intense "moments". Obviously, a lot of you prefer a more sustained float than an aggressive POP of airtime...
