Most Original Layout

I would have to say the ,ost original layout i have seen is Goliath

Golioath Rocks the west but Millinnium Force Rules The Rest
I think the layout of the Crystal Beach Cyclone is off the hook, even though its been defunct many moons ago.

Yep, no part of Goliath's layout even mildly resembles any other ride in existence today, especially not Raging Bull. Oh wait...

Seriously though, I think any of the weird coasters out in Japan have the most original layout, just pick one! ;-)
Thunderbolt and Steel Phantom have (had) interesting layouts, with the use of the ravine and all.

Millennium Force's layout looks pretty interesting, but boy does it deliver!

As for most original, I don't know... Shivering Timbers always cracks me up, though. It's like, "Why didn't anyone think of this before!" ;)

I would have to vote for Montu at BGT. In 1996 that was the most original layout ever. It still is very original, but TG:TJC and Great Bear have similar elements in the same order now.

I still think Montu has perhaps the best layout on any coaster I've ever ridden.

Millennium is spelled with two N's ;)

Raging Bull is actually a pretty orginal layout.

I think the raptor has the most original layout out there.
How about Batman: The Ride at SFGAM they don't get more original than that.

MF, wasn't meant for originality, it was meant for it to fit in a tight spot, and deliver one helluva punch.
I'll have to say Montu, the Beast, Son of Beast,
Gwazi, and Thunder Run at SFKK>

I would have to say the Force also. I mean when you see most hypers they are still copies of Magnum XL-200. I am glad someone broke that design.

Best Coaster: Millennium Force
Worst Coaster: Project Stealth

Well, Magnum was not too original, it's just a copy of any other Out-&-Back Woodie with a fancy turn-around. BTW, those are Arrow's comments on Maggie's design, not just mine.

As for originality, The Beast easily wins this category, it keeps going, and going, and going... Dueling Dragons is pretty original as well. I think B&M comes up with the most original layouts, (new inversions and placement of them) of any company.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Well I would say Shockwave at SFGAm was a pretty original layout. I mean, before Shockwave, when did you ever see a curving first drop like that on a steel coaster? Now dang near every B&M looper has one. Not to mention it was the first 7-inversion coaster....

Also, the Vekoma SLC layout is pretty amazing, El Condor was the first coaster to have an Immelman, the first split-S (comprising the 'rollover' element) and the first with consecutive inline twists. That's a pretty impresive layout.

The Crystal Beach Cyclone is by-far the most original layout of a wood coaster. It looks soo cool. Best layout of a coaster in operation goes to Wildcat at Hersheypark. Great first drop!
I'm amazed no one has mentioned Boulder Dash! Talk about completely original! Basically all coasters that are designed to fit a certain location are going to appear "more origional" than others.........
The Beast and SOB are very original and very thrilling layouts.
I think the FOF layouts are the most unique. Bad joke coming. They are tight. LOL. Sorry, but thats my opinion.

You can't run and you can't hide...The Beasts at PKI
I think that MF and Raging Bull are both original. I hope they never clone those rides. That would be shame.

-------------
2 for 1 in 2001:SFGAm all the way!!
2002:CPs year 2 rule!
The Beast and his son at PKI. I have never seen any coasters that come close to their layout. Very original. Of course, PKI has the land structure to utilize these layouts. Most parks don't.
Superman in New England, with the Beast as a close second.
