MF disapoint anyone?

MF NO AIRTIME? At 200 lbs I get great air on every hill......if I wait for the front seat.....which I always do. To me and my daughter, that is 40 minutes of time well spent. The view leaning over the front and looking down the drop is indescribeable. What a great ride and my number 1 steel.

Have I ever been disappointed? Sure, riding in the middle of the train where I get absolutely no airtime and a ho hum boring ride. Disappointed, yes, missing Millennium Mania.

Jeff: 3 minute dispatches ... believe it. This was the evening of Tuesday, June 11 (2 days after CoasterBuzzCon). I found it hard to believe myself, and I hardly think it's normal.

But that figure was determined by two methods... First, while standing in the line for front seat, we were told by ride attendants that we would have at least a 45 minute wait. Counting the number of people in line matched that to approximately 16 trains to dispatch including our own. (I say approximately, because we were numbers 31 and 32 in line... I don't know CP's policy about single riders in the front of Millie, but somehow I doubt they allow it.) That yields slightly less than a 3 minute dispatch time.

But honestly, I couldn't believe it... Attendants tend (rightly so, in my opinion) to overestimate wait times, and that dispatch seemed longer than I would expect. So we timed it. And dispatch times were approximately 3 minutes, believe it or not. After two dispatches, we elected not to wait any longer and took the third row (the closest CP will allow anyone to sit if they've waited in line for the front).

I don't claim that's normal. And I didn't pay enough attention to see if there was a special reason. Off the top of my head, they could have been short on crew, been training new crew, or experiencing some mechanical/technical difficulties. We didn't let it bother us. That's hardly enough to ruin a day at any amusement park for me.

CP does allow single riders in the front seat - I went with two girls who had never ridden it before on Saturday and they only wanted to ride in the middle, but the ride-op gave me front seat cause I was the only other single in line other than the front seat guy.

But yes, 3 minute dispatches were happening around that time that you said. But they seemed to be running a lot faster this past weekend - the line moved really well.

I went last week and the dispatch time was about 1 min 50 sec between trains. We were waiting for the front, there were about 20 people in front of us and it took about 15 to 20 min to get on.
