MF disapoint anyone?

i was just wondering if millenium force disapointed anyone. i have the hugest hopes for it ever. im thinking number 1 for sure. im usually disapointed when i hear alot of hype about something and then ride it for myself. not jus coasters as well. movies, video games.
some coasters would be hulk, i hated it so much, villan and montu. i disliked all of them but they were praised before i went

also when the train hits the brakes on MF how offten is there cheers. most of the time?

I am sure it was a disappointment for some people but the majority of people like it.

All the time. There will always be cheers on that ride :)

Just go into it with an open mind and no expectations. I had no idea what to expect from the ride, and it just blew me away!

I think I'm one of the few that was disapointed by MF. The drop was awsome, but all the overbanks that followed left me wanting more.

In my opinion it lack's in the airtime and intensity deparment. It has some "floater" air, but no "ejector" air.

If you like fast speeds, I'm sure you will love it! But I guess it's not my cup of tea. :)

That's probably the biggest complaint you'll get, because enthusiasts have this thing for airtime. Without it, a lot of folks are left wanting more.

That doesn't make it wrong, but the fact is that every night you'll see every train come in with 72 hands in the air and people cheering.

fast responses, thanks
whoa, sorry for not being grammatically correct. im not in school so i really don't care.

personally ny the looks of things i cant understand why people like it so much. its a one trick ponny.(spelling) coaster enthusiasts are the kind of people that sit there and drill at the coasters weak spots, but i never hear people complaaining about it. very wierd

I think MF is great but it doesn't have a lot of airtime.

I'm very disappointed in my MF experience. Disappointed that I haven't been able to ride it yet. :(

I was impressed with the drop, but that's about it. The length needed help and again, the lack of airtime. The best seat though, is in the back.

I loved the ride, but it was somewhat of a let down from what I thought it would be. Instead of airtime, I got plenty of speed, and that doesn't make the coaster bad at all. It depends on the preferance of the rider. However, with the GP in mind, Cedar Point has one of the most succesful steel coasters ever built, right alongside Magnum.

Thank You for challenging TOS: The Ride. We hope you enjoy the rest of your day, here at SFCB.

When I saw the layout I didn't think I would like it after the first drop. Boy, was I wrong!

Millennium Force isn't my #1, which automatically means people think I don't like it. I do. But honestly there are several coasters I like better. MF doesn't get extra points just because it's 300ft tall, I judge it on par with everything else I ride, and it still comes out pretty well.

I could give a rat's butt whether it has "airtime" or not. To me if you want airtime, ERT on Magnum or Gemini, MF was built to do something different, and even though I find the coaster less than perfect, it's a ride I wouldn't hesitate to ride again and again.

"Escuse me, can you tell me where the heck the Mystery Lodge is"?

I didn't mind the lack of airtime or that it was too short or that it's blue. I just found the elements repetitive and layout fairly uninteresting(This doesn't look good for Xcelerator either). No quick changes in direction or surprise moments although I loved the overbanked turn above the crowd! Real nice sense of speed and an odd hanging sensation. Superb drop though and no complaints overall really. Definitely not disappointed since I could tell from looks it was no Superman or Raging Bull, but it was fun nonetheless.

The length needed help

Jeez...the ride is 6959'. Oh yeah, thats so short.

I had the same feeling as you when I rode it last year. I thought I might be dissapointed becuase of all the hype. But I wasn't. I loved every bit of it. And now it's my #1. Try to not think about it automatically becoming your #1, and just judge it after you have experienced it.

I think that you should take a lesson from yourself. The correct way to spell "grammer" is G-R-A-M-M-A-R.

My only complaint is that it's too short. There are some great moments of airtime going over the hills to the island (there and back), and some of the most intense sensations of speed, not to mention the first drop. The bunny hill at the end is cool too. I love floater air, and this ride has a decent amount of it. But it goes so fast that the ride is over way way too soon.

the speed alone makes it number one on my list...for the 3 days i was at CP, i went on it 16 times....it was raw...
Disappointed? Uhhh...No!

It is an awesome speed machine, and the floater air on the hills rock! I thought I was hyping it up too much before I rode it, but I blew away even my elevated expectations.
