I agree with them that MF is the number 1 steel coaster...so can they be so right.....yet so....off?
Must be a big difference.:)
The other day it was so packed at the point that MS was the only ride Jen and I got on. The trim was barely on, and the entire track had a nice fat line of lubricant running it. It was even better than it has been in the past weekends this year, I got a stream of tears in my eyes from the speed.
I'm not saying that it's anywhere near the quality of the woodies at Holiday World, but there's definitely a hell of a lot worse out there. (Shivering Timbers, for example.)
Hello, Hello! (hola!) I rode a ride named Vertigo!-with apologies to U2
Oh wait...
I was begging to think it was environmental thing or something but Blue Streak always has it.

MF is the #1 steel coaster according to Amusement Today. But that picture says Mean Streak is in the top ten according to Theme Parks Magazine.Must be a big difference.:)
Oh, and Dragster's #2. Sounds like my kind of publication.
1. Predator - Six Flags Darien Lake
2. Grizzly - Kings Dominion
3. Hurler - Kings Dominion
Mean Streak ranks in my top 10 total coasters list, but I also love wooden coasters that kick a little bit. I mean, I even loved Blue Streak and that had a little bite to it.

It's been there most of the times I went this year, and that's been every weekend.
The exceptions are after heavy rains.

Dustin - you need to ride more woodies.
I was about to jump all over you for first mis-spelling my name and then for even daring to say that I should ride more woodies as I have been on most of them in the USA -- then I realized we have a new poster who is named Dustin. My bad. ;)

I guess the other coasters on list have similiar banners or something to that affect according to Jeff Mast, editor of TP Magazine.
And there you have it. :)
