Its reddish orange end of discussion. Or wait maybe its orangish red. Crap now I don't know what color it is either.

As I remember pointing out last time around:

CP says its red,
CP paid for Magnum,
therefore CP choose the color,
if there website says its red its red.

Then I guess it's true...SFDL's Superman got retrofitted with LIMs...their website says so.

Yeah, but S:ROS is red.

Also, a little know fact is that Avalanche at Timber Falls has some LIMs. They won't admit it, and they are hidden, but you can feel the acceleration.

The train on Avalanche is red.

Six Flags website is not to be trusted and it sucks (consult thread on that one). However, they do have LIM (which stands for linear induction magnets) in a way, the breaks are magnetic and they are in a line (2 for 3 not bad for SF) they just dont "induce" they "reduce" so they are LRM.

CF handles their website much better.

No, Magnum is really black and grey........to a colorblind person. Honestly, who cares what color it is? Let people think whatever they want to.

orange sounds better
SFDLdan, is it red/orange, or orange/red?

I personally think it's red.. the same color as Dorney's Steel Force, except that SF seems to have sections painted every year or 2 so it's not quite as faded. However, the faded parts look to me to be the same color as Magnum, and I've seen SF's paint fade, get repainted, and fade again since it was built in '97.

So.. is Steel Force red, orange, red/orange, orange/red, reddish orange, orangish red, red with a touch of orange, orange with a touch of red, tomato, pantome monochrome, or what? :)

The test patch of paint under Magnum's lift is definitely orange, as it matches the color of the track right now. If they would actually paint the damn thing, I think that we would at least know what color it was re-painted.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.
Magnum has to be orange. They make life preservers out of orange because it is more buoyant than red. If Magnum was red it would sink.
LOL! That's funny, RavenTTD.

Isn't that proof that it's red, since it's supposedly sinking? ;)

MAGNUM IS SINKING

It's red.

MrScott

I'm sorry to say, but the color of Sinking Magnum is the only the second most important discussion topic ever.

What's obviously much more important is the actual color of Nessie at Hansa Park...

HAHA! I'd hate to see the exit of that tunnel.

It is green, but the lift looks a bit blue.
