Which coaster do you think looks the most impressive yet gives the worst ride?
I think it's Meanstreak - I've had more fun on the Mickey Mouse Train at Disney World!

Meanstreak is beautiful to look at. It should just be looked at, not ridden. The Vekoma boomerangs look cool, but they ride like crap also.
Vekoma SLC's have a cool layout, but most off them are very rough.
I agree with RagingBullGuy Son Of Beast wasn't may favorite wooden coaster just because it was rough and jerky, but it was the most impressive and tallest wooden coaster I have ever seen in person. CEDAR POINT NEXT WEEK!!!

Yep,i agree.When i took my friend to SFgadv last wednesday she was all wow'd by GASM and then i had to tell her,beautiful but painful.She told me as we got off it,scream machine as in screaming headache,lol.

Anyway, I'll have to say Magnum. Looked cool, but it was a TERRIBLE ride.
Maybe it was just all the hype - #1 COASTER - "the best ride I've ever been on." - "Magnum is awesome! - "Nothing beats magnum." - etc. You know what I'm talking about. Perhaps I shouldn't read about coasters until AFTER I've been on them...

SOB is a limosine compared to Hercules and Mean Streak, both of which look great and are almost unrideable.
Windjammer Surf Racers has to be the best example. It is sooo gorgeous, but it would be the worst ride you had ever ridden.
