Locations that could use an amusement park

One location that I think could really use an amusement park is Puerto Rico, my island of origin. It would be a very popular tourist attraction, but the natives might not have the leisure time for such a place, considering the demographics. Maybe if they decided on statehood, that could all change. The tropical climate could keep it open all year, but structural integrity must be kept when there's hurricane season.
Seattle, Pheonix, Miami and Honalulu could all use good amusement parks.

I think a good location for an amusement park would be my neighborhood in Pennsylvania. Kick all the other people who live on this street out, there's a cul-de-sac at the end, so it wouldn't be intersecting any other important road...and it's even on a hillside with woods so it's a great place for a nice terrain woodie. :o)

Seriously though, I always thought Boston needed more amusement parks around it.

Your area had 3 parks at one time. They all went bankrupt. FYI.
SOUTH FLORIDA!!!! I Can't Emphasize this enough!!!

I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters
Yeah, Florida.. They really have a lack of amusement parks there. Cripes.

I'd have to say Hawaii, I definetly think whoever built one there could make a ton.

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
Northern Indiana! I'll donate the land. Complete with a few hundred acres of fields and woods.

Just wishful thinking I guess. :)
My area wouldn't need anymore parks if they would do something to SFDL!!!! Hey, i've got an idea... Take the silver comet from MFI, SROS from SFDL, and give them to PCW!!!! :)

I'm pulling for the Pacific Northwest, right in the middle of Seattle and Portland. It would be nice if we knew more about that project up there, namely if it's really going to happen.

Regarding Hawaii... let's not. Oahu is pretty cheesy in places as it is, but that's one place that should not be any more cluttered up than it already is. It's the most beautiful place in the US, and I'd hate to see it not maintained.

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
north-central indiana.
4 hrs from CP... 3 and a half from SFGA... at least 3 to 4 from holiday world. The only thing closer would be "no" fun spot.... but come on... that's more of a stable circus.
we definetly have our choices... but the choice to go to one at all includes at least 6 hrs of driving all together.
Hawaii,Boston,Miami,Phoenix,Seattle,Long Island.

SFGAManiac, I could live with that. :)
A Holiday World kind of small to start out something in Myrtle Beach might manage to fair well. That would add hundreds of rides to my seasons, making coasting more realistic and affordable. Traveling out of Wilmington, N.C. kinda sucks.......BGW and PKD really aren't that far until you start driving home.
North Louisiana, I mean ANYWHERE in Louisiana!!
