It was sold to Wieland for a considerable amount of money. The ride did cost around $8,000 to maintain a day, which included a morning greasing of the track. The ride could operate no longer than 12 hours a day because of this. The ride was a maintenance nightmare, and definatly did not get the attendance the park wanted it too. The negotiations have been going on all off season and have continued till just recently, when Wieland finally offered the park a decent amount of money, which is still undisclosed, but is close to what Kris said. I mean if you don't want to believe it, you don't have too.. But I gurantee you won't see the coaster again in the states.
As for more information, it comes through a very credible source at the park.
