LeSourdsville Lake - Officially Closed

'Playa...I was wondering where Captain Oblivious was...he has been notably absent as of late. I am glad he (finally) decided to make a guest appearance again... ;)

I don't know what you guys are trying to talk about, but i have been employed al the Lake when it was under the management of Coney Island and last year, under the Pugh's, who sought nothing more than to see the park prosper. They really had visions for the park, ideas about 5 and 10 years down the road. I have met Couch and he is a really good businessman. He has to be to still be in business. I hope that Mr. Couch reads all of the posts by everyone on here and all the letters and memories sent in by people on americanaamusementpark.com because if he does, he would know that people want this park open. They will come and they DO enjoy it. As a fellow coaster enthusiast and employee of the park, i hope it opens this summer and i do enjoy veryone's opinions on the park. I just hope that the next management team, whoever they are, does a good job and does it right and the park grows into something that we as amusement park visitors know it has the potential to be.
There aint nothing about the CPC that is fake.

Jerry Couch may be a good businessman trying to get the park going. I think the issue is Pugh's which is where they were having problems. When visiting the park last August I commented to one of the manager that I was happy to see Screechin' Eagle being kept as an airtime machine and commenting on how stupid other parks are by taming down their ride. It would seems that Jerry Couch wants to keep the Screechin' Eagle running as a world class ride and wouldn't have it any other way just like Holiday World. Two parks that really cares about your ride experience! :-)
