From what I gather Screehin' Eagle is a great coaster but the CPC cannot do anything because We have already asked to manage the park.

That's the funniest crap I have ever read. Did you honestly think that they would let a 15 year old with no training run an amusement park!!??

Just like CPnut, we all know what will happen next. When you get your account deleted it's smart to not let people know when you come back!

Now now, Peabody. From what I've read, he could hardly "manage" it any more poorly. ;)

Thanks :) Maybe I should call up the White House and ask if I coul manage the country sometime!

I bet Couch laughed his ass off when he got that call! All I can hear is the "squeeky voice teen" from the Simpsons! "Uhhh....can me and my group of 15 year old coaster people run your park?"

It is fairly simple, good rides, good advertising, and good a staff.

I forgot you don't need money, experience, skills, a driver's license, etc.

To get back on topic: you guys might want to check http://www.lesourdsville.com/ again. They've change it from "indefinitly" to "while seeking new managment".

I found this quite encouraging.

Without the chaindog, you'd never get up the lifthill...

Yeah, at least the place is saying *something* which is more then we got the years it was closed. I hope things work out. I really enjoyed my visits last year and would love to see the place fully operational.

Ripple Rock Amusement Park

Yes!, I just checked the site, and it is very incouraging!

CoasterPreservation- please, SHUT UP! You have no skill at running a park, you have no financial backers, and heck, probally not even a drivers license. How do you expect to run this park? What do you think your net profits and losses will be? I would like to know exactly how plan on running this park.

My mind works in strange ways. Yeah with a chain driven lift hill and gravity.

Trying to set the record straight: Just because you can run a decent park in RCT doesn't qualify you to run a real park.

Peabody, I was thinking more along the lines of Cletus... "Hey kids, we's gettin' an amusey-ment park! C'mon Tiffany, Amber, Chloe, Joe, Larry, QBert..." :)

Sorry, I cant release any information. The CPC doesn't want money to manage the park. They can keep the money. We just want the park to stay open.

SRM 2003-Look for the guy with my name on his chest

Agreed, Mark! Somepeople seem to not realize that it takes money to operate a park, whether you want to keep any or not.

Of course, we won't get into experience, skills, a car, residence whithin a day's drive, a drivers liscence, and countless other things.

So sad, yet so amusing......

Don't believe everything you think. - bumper sticker seen on 4/19/03

What do you think you're DOING here?

Why are all of you knocking the leader of a new and promising club simply for having a dream? Didn't Walt Disney start with a dream? Henry Ford? Thomas Edison? And didn't those dreams come true?

Who's to say that a few rag-tag burger flippers and their imaginary friends can't catch two busses to a local park and turn its destiny around--by pushing brooms and mops, taking orders, filling orders, pushing buttons and providing actual service the like of which has never been seen before? The preference to be a 'president' before being a foot soldier first? The love of lookin' like somebody as opposed to actually accomplishing anything? The realiziation that it would be a little too much like actual work? The fact that there just isn't enough Ritalin in the world to make it happen? Hey, wait a minute...

Guess everybody's right after all. The CPC--both real and imaginary members--have got to be kidding. Carry on. Nothing to see here.
