Wow that's cheap for amusement park food. How much is a medium Pepsi by itself @ Kennywood?
I think $1.50, but don't quote me on that. Its been awhile.

The foods more in line with HW or other small parks and worth every penny.
Even got the Belgian Waffle at closing with chocolate and strawberries as Rideman suggested.
Belgian Waffle.... ugh..... Just 7 more days, and I'll get one, Just 7 more days...
- Josh, who is obviously going to Kennywood in 7 days. Teehee! :)
Those chicken baskets with the fries are big enough for Two, easily. That's $3 per person if you share the drink.
But, I can't wait till this Saturday to have some Potato Patch fries! July 9th is just around the corner...only 3 more days!

I dunno, they were really really soggy and cold. I didn't get any this past trip either.
Patch Fries plain 3.60 you can add cheese and gravy for free
Patch Fries with cheese and bacon 4.25
Small drink 1.60
Medium drink 1.85
Large drink 2.00
Isn't it sweet, and souvenir cups don't cost an arm and a leg. 2.75.

My first visit at Phantom Fright Nights I had a similar experience with them, George.I dunno, they were really really soggy and cold. I didn't get any this past trip either.
Brian,
They aren't as good on Fright nights. I don't know why, they do have them in a different place. But, on any given day around lunch or dinner, they are hot out of the fryer and totally yummy. I had mine and still had a little grease on them. They were that fresh.

I've tried them on two different occasions and found them to be just as you describe them. I don't get the fuss over them either and doubt I'll ever eat them again.
I usually get them around the time they open (between 11am-noon). Although they are not the crispiest I never found them to be soggy by themselves by any means. :-P
I FINALLY tried the gravy and didn't care much for it, but I do love the cheese, garlic salt, and the hot sauce. Barbecue sauce isn't too shabby either. KW doesn't offer chili with their fries and I doubt they ever will (unfortunately, but I can live..lol.) The bacon bits is something I am going to try next time. :-)
I LOVE the PP fries. If I lived closer and if Kennywood offered season passes I would go there just to get a few spins on Phantom and Pittfall and pick up some PP fries. I rank them about the same as Cedar Point's Hot Potato fries (maybe SLIGHTLY higher due to more selections).
Both places should offer mayo, pizza sauce, mozzarela cheese, and ranch dressing as a side item as well.
Hmmm, does anyone eat ketchup with their fries anymore? :-P
