Chris, Do you mean something like "Xtreme Dragsters" where the the X is used to replace some other letters?

Peabody: the letter X is in the name...doesn't mean it STARTS with 'x'.
True.  I'm not saying it's not true.  (Hey, I love the letter X!)  I'm just interested in how they are going to use it.

I heard that they are going to make the coaster easy to remember by calling it "That Pink Coaster over There". For once the general public will be correct when they say that.

sfmmman2001:  ROFL!   You are so correct.  I can't tell you how many times I've heard people in line say something like "Hey, let's go on that blue one next."  In fact a friend of mine made a park in RCT and named all his coasters their color so his peeps would say "The Red One was fun" or "The Red One is too intense for me." And I can't tell you how many time I've spoken to people in line and asked "Have you ridden ____ ?" and they'll say "Is that the yellow one over there?"
Heck...we could do an entire thread on dumb things the GP says.  I speak to coworkers who have never heard of Ghostrider and are shocked to find out Knott's has a wooden coaster.  I once had a woman tell me she rode the stand-up coaster at Six Flags Pomona and that the coaster fell apart and they shipped it in pieces to Japan!  And that was AFTER she found out I was an enthusiast...LOL!  I didn't have the heart to tell her there was never a Six Flags Pomona and that the coaster was at SFAW.  I just smiled and nodded.

Dag nabit, does this mean the coasters name is not Grease?

And I actually wondered if they had the "nerve" to call it that.

I belive that "Grease" was somewhat of a code/project name for the ride. It sure would have been a slick name for the coaster. :: rim shot::

But since its orange....
And yes the GP says that all the time.
You know, that blue one.  Oh Boomerang?
That red and black one.  Jaguar.  Yeah thats it.
Happens all the time!

All I know is that a sitdown looper can bring in a crowd, i mean why wouldnt it.  Do you really belive peeps are going to drive 2 hours to SFMM to ride a Hyper, I dont think sooo.  For the peeps saying wait a mintute its only 40 minutes from Buena Park to Santa Calrita, add in the Car chases the stupid people slowing down to see a fender bender, and the rush hour traffic you get any were from 40 minutes on a good day, to 3 hours. on a bad, so same time to wait in line for Riddler on a Busy summer day at Magic.

SFMM Season Pass 80$ drink 10$ ripping of six flags by coming back 100 times Priceless......
It will have "X" somewhere in the title and there is a good chance that it will take the place of something. An abbreviated version, example: SFMM the Xtreme park. Emphasis on the Xtreme part of it. However, like others said, it won't be known as that by the GP lol. It will be known as the pink and green one. I think the supports look like the color on the bottom of the troff's (spelling) of long flumes. Kind of that worn out greenish color, so, it will be known as "long flume" in short for me lol!
Yeah, I agree with Chris Senn.  It will probably be something like Xcelerate and be coral colored with sea foam green supports! :)
Xcelerator is the only name I could think of, but thats if they do in fact have it after a 50's theme, and have it launched
