People didn't believe me about the Impulse at CP and I was right. If you don't believe me about this then I don't care but remember that I said this!

I'm not saying your lying, but just how in the hell do you get away with saying so much about the ride and not worry about losing your source? Sounds irresponsible to me. If you really do know, maybe you should learn a thing or two about keeping what you know to yourself.

I even know the name, it begins with a "X" but I won't say the rest.
OK, some of what you said was possibly believable (although I still don't know where people are getting a hydrolic launch system from. Anyone care to illuminate?) however......No way would CF build any star attraction with a name that starts with "X". A little park down the street is opening a huge coaster that happens to be named "X". What other options are there for a name starting with "X"? Nothing that wouldn't cause way more confusion than Cedar Fair would allow between two competitors and their star attractions.

First, it is THE employee parking lot.
Second, it has houses on 3 sides of it. If it is this much of a problem with the park across the street, anything there is right in their backyard.

And no, it's not a Setpoint ride (duh), and it's not air launched. Why is that the simplest answer in light of the evidence can't be accepted?

Actually, more of a figure eight layout, with a top hat and overbanked turn seperating the other elements.

1) Knott's already has two sit-down loopers, Montezuma's Revenge and the Boomerang.
2) (Considering that the coaster is indeed "launched") Knott's already has two sit-down loopers with "unconventional" lift hills
3) The park just removed a sit-down looper (Windjammer)
With X soon opening, and Deja Vu and DCA all having opened within the past year or so in the LA area, I think that Knott's would go wth something a little more "marketable" than a sit-down (read: standard) looping coaster, regardless of how cool an Intamin model would be.
Then again, just my $.02.

We know it is Intamin, so at least headbanging will not be an issue. I just rode California Screamin at DCA again the other day. I cannot wait for Knott's to have something that smooth but faster and more intense.
As long as it opens on time I'll be extatic. SoCal has had enough delayed openings. BTW, how long has it been since WindJammer actually closed... SHEESH!
