I won't complain about the ride until I've experienced it. If the drop turns out to be a dud, in my opinion, I'll say something.

Fate is the path of least resistance.
You got me thinking Andy, what if you entered a near vertical drop at an angle like this, just imagine inverted:

And since it's such a small shallow drop anyway, wouldn't build up too much speed to still have a comfortable pull out. Could work no?

I'm confused at your comparison - Silver Bullet and Raptor's drops are completely different.
Yeah, I didn't word that very well. Yes, the drops are very different. What I meant was, Raptor's drop is a curve, then descent. Little did I realize, that the curve swings your body out to the side just before the track drops sharply, giving some "floater" air time. Looking at it, I would have never guessed.
The same might hold true for Silver Bullet. Right now it looks like a sharp turn into a moderate slope. But it may have been designed to give a little floater air around the bend, maybe lateral G's, or possibly to enhance the foot-chopper effect over Jaguar. I'm giving B&M the benefit of the doubt for now.

When since has a rampy drop been fun??
I don't know, but I thought Revolution's ramp into the loop was fantastic. Killer anticipation!
You have to remember though, Raptor's drop is 45º, not 20º. :)
I like it because it's different, but I'm sure it won't rocket up to my fav drops on an inverted anytime soon.

There's even a pic of a footer right in the theater, I'm curious to know if they'll be able to continue shows with such a loud distraction flying around and over the theater area itself. Not sure if SB will be filled sand, but even so, the screams will make it difficult to hear and enjoy the show. I may be exaggerating, but hope there's a way this will all work out, would hate to loose another classic Knotts attraction.
