Jeff, here's the site. Unfortunately it is out of date & the photo links don't work anymore.

I found a pic of this huge designer-built coaster on the K'NEX site. *Drooool*.

Check out this site & the other two in the web ring. Brad's page is owned by the one & only ARROW GUY. :)

Holy crap! How many sets did it take to build that giant one? It obviously took all four people in the photo to build it!

Taipan: OMG! Is that an Enterprise? That would be awesome to do. I figure that I could get a couple flat rides out of the old KNEX coaster and put it next to my Serpent! Gotta try that. Hmmmm.....maybe a Skywheel? :) Or Flying Scooters! And my roommates hate it when I put just 1 SS set up! That monstrosity you linked us to is unreal..... *drooling*.....

My gosh, that thing's huge! I wish I could make that! :) Hmm, I need lots of money to build that too! Do the Screamin' Serpent cars connect so you can make long train?

Chris K. yes, they each have a ball & socket joint. However, you cannot connect the nose of a lead car with anything. I have two kits (2 lead, middle and rear cars). All I could get was a 5 car train, and to do that I had to take the hitch from the back of the unused lead car and put it on one of the rear cars........note that you may have to cut some of the two screw shanks away for it to fit on. Then, you can have the two rear cars hook together. The only other problem with that is the high backs to the rear cars, which are limited in how far they can bend inside a loop. Be careful not to lose the axle pins! :)

I would love to be able to purchase cars separately, and that way we could get more middle cars without having to change wheelsets. I suggested this to KNEX. It's still a fairly new item so maybe next year we'll see individual cars available!

You think that big K'Nex coaster is something...

You guys ever see photos of the Iron Horse, Tony Gonzales' gigantic Spacewarp creation? It was featured in Rollercoaster! some years ago.

Hmmm...I wonder what's become of Tony; I haven't heard from him in years...

Thanx Arrow guy! :) That helps me out a lot! Does the track come in lots of pieces, or do you have to build it?
That huge K'nex rollercoaster and ferris wheel is the one that is on display at the toys r us flagship store in times sq NYC. (oh yea that toys r us has its own ridabel indoor ferris wheel)
I know this is off the topic, but is'nt Tony Gonzales a Tight End for Kansas City Cheifs too
Danny1985, LOL! :) That's a riot......I can see him all decked out in his uniform, trying to tinker with a tiny marble coaster!

Chris K., you have hundreds of X-shaped green crossties, and a roll of purple rail that ends up snapping on to the sides. The whole thing goes up in pieces, very realistically I might add. You are then able to unsnap the track and rebuild it in any configuration you wish, providing you allow enough radius in the twists and loops so the train doesn't bind.

Thanx again Arrow Guy! You are big help cause I want this set so bad! I might get it for Christmas, or I might have to buy it later on this year, or should I say next year already? Thanx again! :)

Also has anybody built a  Sea Serpent inversion, or Boomerang?

-----------------

Hey everyone, but I got a question, I had made statement earlier about my Inverted coaster, is there any more types of coasters I could make?
-----------------
Also I would like to know if there are anyore links to K'nex sites with coasters or amusement rides.
Chris K., here's the Custom KNEX Model Webring. There are only 3 sites right now since it is new. If any of you want to submit your site, contact Chris Simon (Osian).

Is SS realy worth $80?

And where can I find some in the North east Ohio area?My parents say they can't find any. MUCH HELP NEEDED!

What in the world is in that bag?Watch u got in that bag!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Try Ebay.

I think they are worth it. Very fun, not only to construct, but to build.

I havn't attempted my own layout but I'm thinking of doing so sometime.

GO CU! Big 12 Champs!

The only this I dislike about eBay is that they go for so high over there. Then you have to pay shipping. Although there are always at least like 20 SS's going over there.
