Which is why the service at Friday's at the Radisson Hotel always lived up to my expectations for a Cedar Point restaurant after they bought that hotel. :(

Yeah, that's one of the differences (as I understand it) between Paramount Parks and Cedar Fair. Paramount was bringing in concessions for branded food joints; Cedar Fair is buying franchises.
That may have been true of some of the deals at PP, but not all of them. I know the Subway at KI was a franchise (I ended up slaving there one time during shoulder week). I am pretty sure the Chick-fil-a deal at Caro was a franchise as well, otherwise I don't think the burgers-on-sunday deal would have worked.
There may have been some that were concession, not sure, since there aren't any wires attached to hamburgers. *** Edited 8/15/2008 12:12:32 PM UTC by Power&Control***

I had figured that the one at Cedar Point, because it is a large location, would do a two-brand thing and close the Chick-Fil-A line on Sundays, serving something else (Frontier Inn Pizza, perhaps?) off the other side of the building, but in fact they close the entire restaurant (which is entirely Chick-Fil-A).
Power&Control, I'm guessing for CBS it was a bit of a mix. I had been told (by sources much less reliable than yours, admittedly) that at the very least, the smoothie stand and Chinese joint that never seemed to be open along the now-blocked path to Rivertown, and the Chinese joint (now Skyline) on International Street were both concessions, likewise apparently a couple of games (including the ladder climb with the picture of a ride that is obviously not Diamondback behind it). Judging by the prices, my gut feeling is that Skyline at the Lunch Basket "smells" like a concession just because the food prices are THE SAME as at Skyline "on the outside", and in fact they charge LESS for extra cheese than my local Skyline does. I can't imagine Cedar Fair allowing that practice to continue!

Seriously though? Pizza Hut the "god" of all pizzas? I would rather go hungry than spend money on Pizza Hut.
Not only is the product crap, so can be their service. I made an online order and when I showed up, (an HOUR later, nonetheless), my order was nowhere to be found. YouTube "Pizza Hut Mad TV" and you'll see that, perception or reality, quality is BOTTOM on Pizza Hut's priorities.
Continuing the pizza rant, I'm so happy Cincinnati has LaRosa's. It may be pricier than other chains and not everyone likes it (but I do)... above all they have a one-number centralized call center that connects to all of their locations in greater Cincinnati and No. Ky. You're speaking to someone who only takes orders in a call center, NOT a nosy, busy kitchen where they don't necessarily speak clearly.
I tried Donato's once... they had some deals, and the one near me has a drive-up window, but being on hold 5 minutes and talking to someone hard to hear... not good.

PCar did the burgers and fries out of the Chick on sundays, but I haven't been there on a Sunday under Cedar unFair.

Edit...and I'd like to add...Since their are Pizza Huts all across the country, maybe they are slightly different in each area.

Hi
I'll stand by my "Pizza Hut god of all pizza" comment.
;)
Cut me and my opinion a little slack.
