Just a heads up... Kings Island is planning a crazy delicious event May 9 and 10 for members of any recognized coaster club, including CoasterBuzz Club. Details are coming soon, but in the mean time, be sure to put it on your calendar!

This will certainly be the must-do event of the year for enthusiasts around the country. This event is open to all accredited card-carrying enthusiast groups, including the Coasterbuzz Club.

Very few details have been released, but I can confirm that there will be ERTs on DIAMONDBACK, The Beast, Firehawk, The Racer, Flight of Fear and more!

We'll see you there!

Sweet, CF is rolling out the events this year. First CM! gets expanded to two days and now KI? Wow, If I can go Ill only be able to one day but I look forward to it.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

Wonder what they consider a 'coaster club'?
I'm part of the Ohio State Theme Park Engineering Group. Definitely a club. Definitely all about coasters!

Hey, what if you're a member of a coaster-based religion? Does that count? :)

I will put that on my calendar.

I'm marking it on the calendar too. My daughter happens to be off from school that Friday so it'll make the trip easier.

You must be a registered member of a Kings Island-approved roller coaster club or amusement/theme park enthusiast organization to attend Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend!

So my wife is out of luck? I was seriously considering this, but not if I'm going alone.

Does anyone who's familiar with these type of events know if a club member is usually permitted to buy a spouse ticket?

Hi

They almost always allow members to bring guests.

Plus there is the preview on the 17th of april as well. 2 great events at the park this year.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

^Unless it has changed again, the preview was canceled.

Really?

When was it canceled? I hope it's still on, I was able to get that time off work.

This is what I was hoping for. I have been wanting to get back to KI for a while since I have not been there since 1977. Now this event is the perfect reason/excuse to go. Unless I get laid off I will be there.

Mike

My name is Mike, and I'm a coasterholic.

Anyone have an idea how it would work for children under 42 inches? Do you think I would have to buy a guest ticket. (I HOPE I will not have to buy one since he will not be able to do any of the ERT rides and he already has a season pass.) Anyone have an answer?

Looking at the Kings Island site for the coaster warriors weekend it states CoasterBuzz (Club Members Only).

Does this mean no guests of CoasterBuzz members will be admitted?

We don't really want to drive 3 1/2 hours if my wife and I cannot both be admitted, and my wife will not see the humor in sitting at the Hotel while I ride.

Anybody out there have a clarification? Thanks!

These events almost always allow members to bring a guest or two (I've never seen an event where a club member can't take a guest).

You must be a paid member to attend this event (and have the appropriate ticket). Guests don't count in this case.

For CP's Coastermania, a club member may bring one guest.
