IIRC there were similar sales at Kings Island when I was there last month. Might not have been 50% though.

I hope not. Snoopy is cool and everything, but Nick is one of the hottest kids properties right now.
Who do you think the most people would prefer seeing? Snoopy or Spongebob?

Obviously my kid loves the Nickelodeon stuff, and he had a great time at KD this year seeing Dora and Spongebob. The cool thing is, though, that he likes Peanuts, too, because Mommy and Daddy own A Charlie Brown Christmas, It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and others on DVD. Sure, it's old school, but he's 3 and doesn't know that. I like to introduce him to the classics.
Speaking of which, I've been thinking about getting a lot of the classic Warner Bros. shorts on DVD for him, too. Although it'd be more for me. :) It seems no network ever shows them anymore. Sometimes I want to bash my head against a wall when I'm forced to watch some of the more popular children's cartoons nowadays. What really sucks is that they're good learning programs...
Sorry, rant done.
Who says those old WB shorts aren't educational?
You can learn:
How to catch a roadrunner with object from the hardware store
How to do navigation (a left turn can take you anywhere!)
How to hunt wabbits or ducks.

Actually what's learned is that turing right in Albuquerque will always lead to getting lost.
^That's right. Two lefts dont make a right...but three do.
