Cute.
Don't be nervous. You can't be half as bad as me, and I'm still around.
Just try to remember to spell out words like "people", "are", and "too", or else we'll tie you down in a SOB train, give the ride ops a thumbs up, and not let you out until you are bleeding from the ears.
Well, that what we do, isn't it? :)

36 minutes. Very good, Carrie. Let's work on getting that under half an hour. ;)
LK, stop threatening the rookies with 2 laps on SOB. Moosh, carry on with the Lion King soundtrack.

Why does HE (or she) get to walk down from the midcourse while I had to endure the second half of the ride? ;)
Thread has gone downhill.
And can't find link for Hansen.
Must be haiku time!

Because he (she) gets nervous around new people, and we don't want to scare 'em.
I lol'ed, by the way.
I suspect that this thread will try to reignite when the park makes an announcement. I find the haikus more entertaining than the discussion sometimes.

I don't know why I click it,
but each time I do.

So I actually know someone who got busted by Chris Hansen on Dateline NBC. His name was Jason and he worked with the marching band at my high school. He was the paramedic in the Greenville, OH episode.

... Don't mind me, I'm just lurking. :)
Hope to see something good at the home park. Haven't been in years...
On my way up to DC Sunday I stopped off at KD to get a quick ride as I certainly cant drive past it without doing such. While in lot I walked around the storage site for the tracks and snapped some photos for my personal archive. Its certainly makes it more exciting to me when you see them laid out in person.
Most of the shots are similar to ones on KD Fan site (obviously since its the same location), but I figured i would share all the same.

Been a very, very long time since I posted around these parts. Got into coasters around when I was 14 and carried it for a few years, and have since been far more interested in cars. Getting my fix as far as thrills are concerned turned into a major obstacle. Living in northern Va, there is a nice selection, but nothing crazy. BGW sure is nice though.
I live about 30-45mins from KD, depending on how fast I drive. This 2010 fiasco has pulled me back into the scene. It's all rumors, but its what *I* have always thought KD needed, and what I wished for. Just got back from the park; the clearing IS massive, but so far I just dont see the room (length wise) for a giga such as MF. Granted, it's the only example to go on for obvious reasons. The track hasnt changed; its still there, and there is no more there than is depicted in pictures already.
Me and my bro did end up getting stuck on the transfer tracks of dominator (go figure, of all makes). Couple of really obnoxious young girls kept harrassing one of the operators, little un-called for, but it got his attention. Using it to my advantage, I asked him what was going on with the building in the back, and the track. He was very reluctant to say, but what he did say was it was supposed to be "like hypersonic, but better". It's rumor, and I take it with a grain of salt. I'm hoping he has no idea what he is talking about as I would love to see a giga, but we shall see.
You are too modest, sir..
You know you are good when you have to watermark your images ;)
