Kings Dominion's 2010 Coaster

That just might work. Better yet, an elevator lift that rotates 360 degrees for a cool view.

Pics of the cable lift track on-site at KD have been posted on other sites. It is the same lift track that Millie has.

Kings Dominion just got a whole lot more interesting. It was a nice park when my wife and I visited a couple years ago, just not that compelling enough to stop on our way to Busch Gardens. This changes things if this is true. I am actually excited!

I agree with Moosh, looks like a cable lift hill.

I was just looking at this picture, and noticed something that I consider very odd. On both ends of each square lattice structure there appears to be what look like grey crosses. Could these be used to connect two pieces of lattice together, and if so why would they be on both ends?

^I'm going to take a WAG and say thy're there to protect the ends of the coaster rails from getting damaged during shipment (lesson learned from UltraTwister)? Obviously that's just a theory...*waits for someone to explode said theory*... ;)

...so many questions ask the KD fan
....but Moosh will not tell us, douche-he-am.

I hate that guy! Gives us hints, then says some might not be hints at all. Whadda douchebag!

Oh, wait. Never mind ;)

That was my other theory rollergator, but they appear to be permanently attached to the lattice. That's what I thought it looked so weird about it.

My only question is if that "won't be a mile long" hint is true, what they're going to do with this ride. That seems extremely short to me...especially considering Millennium Force is 6,500+ feet and is short-ish, especially for a ride of it's size.

Millennium Force isn't a mile long either - it's 6,500 feet...which is more than a mile.

Think about it. :)

Is there something going on between Millie and Tim we need to know about? What if Maggie finds out? She'll just sink, I'm sure.

Dammit Gonch! You're ruining it for those of us who wish to be surprised. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!@!#$#$@!!

Just trying to teach others how to play the game. ;)

But I'm not a douche, right? (well, at least not for anything in this thread :) )

Ask danlinden. He's the expert on douchiness and know-it-all-ness.

And this is Chapter 93 in "Why CC is an idiot".

Good point.

"Those internet sources can be fairly accurate"... ;)

That's what he said on the second take. On the first take he said "internet douchebags." ;)

Also keep in mind that 50% of the entire US population lives between Washington DC and Boston.

I'm late on this, but only 48% of the US population lives in the entire eastern time zone, so your figure is a little (or a lot) high.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
