Kingda Ka breakdown NOT Intamin's fault, not to open this year (taken from XC)

KK's problem is nothing like TTD's. TTD's cable frayed, a piece of KK's liner broke loose and ripped up the track a train.
hears what i have to say, what does it mean that intamin takes no responsibility in the accident. Your name is on the coaster, regardless you still had a hand in its creation. Yes very well maintenence could be to blame, but still I hardly find it out of intamins control.

The main reason i hate intamin, is the fact that they sit back on the wads of cash they make, and seem to get a kick out of getting their reputation ruined my malfunctions on their rides. Get a life you swiss SOBs.

The only thing i will ever give them credit for, or maybe cedar point moreso, was in 03 when they flew in engineers from Intamin to look at Dragster when it was having a problem. Probably more of Cedar Points doing that intamin im sure. Once again why cedar point does more for its customers. They dont want to damage a reputation of their park. Sorry to say that about six flags but hey that comes with the territory of the ride. *** Edited 7/18/2005 8:35:07 PM UTC by MagnunBarrel***

Resident Arrow Dynamics Whore

^ I don't see why Intamin would have to come for KK's prob. anyway. The liner detatched and screwed everything up. They knew what the problem was and knew what had to be done. And they are fixing it as fast as they can. I thought some engineers or peeps from Intamin did come to KK after the accident anyway. I thought I read that somewhere.
Yea, Intamin engineers, as well as the park engineers were all taking partin the investigation.

Over on www.xtremecoasters.com there is a quote from the PR that says they expect to have it back open by the end of the month. I guess that oficially squashes all of the rumors of it being closed all year if all the evidence didn't.
