But Thanksgiving? What sort of background music should we play for that holiday?
Over the River and Through the Woods will get very old, very quickly if we don't think of a few more tunes.
How about a "thank you" theme for the music?
Let's start off with that international favorite:
Danke Schoen
And Sly and the Family Stone's:
Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin).
What other appropriate songs are out there? :)

There's "Thanks for the Memories" by Bob Hope (and a million other versions)
"Thank You, Girl" by the Beatles
"Thank God I'm a Country Boy" by John Denver
"Thank You" by Dido (my tea's gone cold...)
same title by Led Zeppelin (If the sun refused to shine...)
"Thank the Lord for ther Nighttime" by Neil Diamond
Another R&B/soul song from the 60s, can't remember who did the original though (you didn't have to love me, but you did, but you did, and I thank you).
It's a start. I'm sure there's a kazillion others out there--many of which should not be considered. :)
The theme music to "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" ;)
Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger
And speaking of Indians - the Thanksgiving section of the park would make for some good flats themed to the Indians - you know like the hawk from Zamperla themed as a Tomahawk, or ...................................................what am I doing, this is like telling a preacher about the bible - I'm sure he knows a whole lot more than I, as I'm sure you have already forgotten more things than I will ever know about a theme park.

"Thank you (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" - Sly and the Family Stone

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.
Some rowdy sea shanties would be fun!

"Thank Heaven for Little Girls" (unfortunately, that might be more creepy than schlocky nowadays)
"Cold Turkey" by John Lennon (though probably not appropriate for a park experience)
Songs that mention the word "turkey" in the lyrics include "Long Tall Glasses" by Leo Sayer; "The Lady Is a Tramp" (Rodgers and Hart); "You're the Top" (Cole Porter). Porter's "Anything Goes" also mentions Plymouth Rock. "Planet Clare" by the B-52's mentions a Plymouth Satellite :)
And for dessert...
"Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie" by Jay and the Techniques. Not to be confused with the polka of the same name. I'd go with Brave Combo's version of that.
Did Vince Guaraldi record a soundtrack for The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Special?
