It's official: Nitro coming to Six Flags Great Adventure

The worst kept secret of the 2001 season has finally been officially announced. Nitro, a 230-foot tall B&M hypercoaster, will debut this year at Six Flags Great Adventure.

I have a few comments to say
first of all Ga lines have gottin smaller however just like any park if you go on peak days or holiays or on a day where they a a popular concert naturally the park is going to be extra crowded just like any park Saturdays are usurally always busy but the lines have gottin smaller Medusas line looks to be large but when you reach the que line it is only a half hour wait when 3 trains are running so sometimes looks on a line can be diseiving. I have to disagree with the fact that the park always has long lines cause it doesn't and of course like any park a new ride will be longger than any other ride dure to it being new.
Second of all some of the rides such as evolution aren't running due to electrical problems as some of the rides were used and sent to ga from another country and their electrical is different from ours so they are having problems transferring the electric over to English hopefully it will be running this year????

I just noticed something. Apollo's Chariot has a 210 foot drop and reaches 73 miles per hour. Nitro has a drop of 215 yet reaches 80 mph?? Does that sound strange to anyone. 5 feet is not enough for another 7 miles per hour. For example, Steel Force has a 200 foot drop and reaches 71 miles per hour, only 2 miles slower than Apollo's Chariot which has a drop 10 feet higher. Could it be that the sudden burst of energy at the top of the lift in the animation is accurate?? That would account for the extra 7 mph, no?? :-) Does anyone agree??
