Don't make fun of Christian rap. That kid was awful, but modern Christian rap is meaningful and very good. Check out this song:

My point is that just because some Christian rap wanna be can't entertain you, it doesn't mean that Christian music is boring and pointless. All those bands I just shared with you were at spirit song festival at KI in 2011.

I mostly try to avoid Christian music, either because it's not very good, or else because I simply don't listen to music to be proselytized.

That being said, there are always exceptions. Sufjan Stevens comes to mind. I'll listen to any recording that dude makes, any time.

Let's just say I strongly and passionately disagree with you when you said Christian music isn't as good.

Perhaps you missed the conjunctions, "either" and "or" in my post.
