Is TR:TR a roller Coaster

I never thought that this ride was a roller coaster, but it seems that there it is going to be a roller coaster, Thrillnetwork.com post a rumor to have said that a brownish color track has arrived and that the cars ahve also arrived but still are packaged.  Is this true I thought that ride was going to be a triple spin or something, Well anyone able to provide more information on this rumor?
From what I've heard it's gonna be a giant enclosed  top spin.
Yes, it's the 3rd B&M flyer...  after Air and SFoG's Superman..

No. It's not a roller coaster. The park has confirmed this much many times.

Even if it were to end up looking like a roller coaster (and I'll bet it doesn't...), it isn't a roller coaster. The park said so. :)

Hmmm...Brown track? Something that looks like coaster track? I have an idea and it has nothing to do with Tomb Raider: The Big Secret. I'm thinking about the big coaster retrofit that might happen this off-season, which may involve doing something just a little strange........

Dave, are you thinking Adventure Express?  TR:TR is NOT a coaster, they (PKI-PR staff) wouldn't specifically lie when they can give out such clever misinformation without directly lying...

did the secret coaster have to do something with the train like being changed to another track then dropped?
IT sounds crazy but I heard it somewhere before, I think of of thrillnetwork.
That was a joke Dave... just to clarify.  ;)

i hope its something good, i mught be visiting kings island this summer.  I wouldnt mind if it is a top spin, i never rode one and im anxious to ride.

"What knockers!"
I just read the Thrillnetwork stuff. First of all, major European rides come in containers. There's no telling what could be in the boxes.

Second, without photos, we just don't know about the alleged track.

Or is it really track? Could it be parts for an existing coaster that may get a mechanical overhaul this season? I won't say which, but I offer one hint: Think of the Kennywood Jack Rabbit.

When's this gonna get closed?

All I have to say is that Jeff Seibert said that it's not gonna be a coaster. What more information do you need? Please people, don't believe every rumor you here!

Actually, the 3rd B&M flyer is going to be in the south again... IOA! It will be Jurrassic Park themed, and I'm sure it will be awesome!

Hmmmm. Could this be magnetic brakes for the Beast? Do I win?

Assuiming it's NOT track, I'd say john peck may know what Dave knows...I seem to recall something about Papa Beast having braking problems sometime late last year.

hmm would be the only way for the Beast to change to another type of brakes, if we are lucky maybe they will shut the rest of em off too.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?
Who's to say it won't be two rides in one! A top spin and a coaster to exit the attraction. Kind of like a get away, so to speak! Hey, it could happen!

I got this from my TR:TR e-mail that everyone got! And I don't see where anywhere in the article it says that YES it a Top Spin in a box! Here is how they put it!

"It is always exciting working to create an attraction that will entertain and thrill our guests. Tomb Raider certainly has the entertainment and thrill aspects, but also the element of surprise. There are four major classifications of the characteristics of an amusement ride. They include the ability to: thrill - like roller coasters and free-fall rides; entertain - like dark rides, train rides, attraction pre-shows; disorient - like the scrambler or the monster; and get wet - like flume rides or river rapid rides; or combinations of all of these. TOMB RAIDER: The Ride has all four!"

Hmmm...sounds like a Top Spin only to me....NOT

Well, Dave mentioned Kennywoods jack rabbit which is being retrofitted for a new magnetic brake system, so i figured it would be a heck of a lot cheaper for PKI to do that to the Beast in spite of unfortunate occurences.

For anyone with questions, Jack Rabbit is only being upgraded, there was no incident which is the reason for a retrofit.

[sarcasm on] The track is for the retrofit for Adventure Express. It's to add something exciting to the ride after the second lift hill. [/sarcasm off]

Anyway, with any luck it will make the Beast better (if indeed that's what it is......).

[sarcasm on again] Now does anybody know when the inverted cars for the Octopus are to be put on? You know, the ones with the lapbars made by Premier? [/sarcasm.....oh you know]

Remember when Beast "crashed?" It was due to slippery brakes in the rain. I think if there are any wood/track/whatever, they're redoing Beast's brakes to avoid the slippery brakes better.

Just a guess. We'll see when the park opens.
