Just don't get all hot under the collar because your thread gets closed or deleted--or if anyone disagrees with your opinion or says your favorite coaster or park sucks.
This is a discussion board. It's all opinions and nothing anyone says here is law. No one said you're ugly or your mother dresses you funny. Well, sometimes they might but that's another story...

How many times does the poor guy have to apologize before you all leave him alone. I haven't even been a part of this conversation and I feel like crap anfter reading some of your posts. I can only imagine what poor coastingohio feels like. Don't you feel like your'e being a little hard on him?
C'Playa, I have great respect for a lot of your opinions and I often look forward to your thoughts, however this "Theory of nobody" thing sound a little conceded and downright rude.
Could the self proclaimed "somebodies" be a little nicer to us inferior "nobodies", please? (Please note that I do not acknoledge that I am a part of either group or that either group even exists.)

And that's the whole point--they really don't. But to the nobody, they do. And that's why Jeff is a nazi, a 'gay man who is set in his ways' or whatever else they wanna say when somebody with a nobody complex gets their thread or post nuked. He's the somebody to the validation-seeking nobody in this instance.
Only this board will never make the nobody somebody--the validation they seek will never be found here. The minute someone disagrees with them, the validation is gone and it's back to nobody all over again.
Is this starting to make more sense now?

Hummmmmmm. Okay I think I took the "Theory" the wrong way. I get it now.
Was this in any way influenced by Marilyn Mansons last album, "Holywood"? I just now connected the two. "We are the nobodies, Wanna be somebodies, We're dead, We know just who we are..."

I am a 28 year old who enjoys the loud and aggressive music. I have been in too many to count rock and metal bands over the years. I have no children, however my good friends now 8 year old daughter has been to a lot of my concerts sense the age of 2. ALSO my 4yo nephue always asks me to play KoRn when he is in my car... and loud.
I DO think your "Fake booby suit" comment was freekin funny as heck though. LOL. I'll file that one under "things I have learned about C'Playa today".

coastingohio, you need to stop taking everthing to heart your reading. Just take comments for what they are, comments. Read them and move on. I had a few topics closed, no biggie. I think it would be good if the mods could email the person stating the reason the topic was closed. For all the closed topics lately they would be writing more emails then moderating.
I didn't intend my post at you. It was to Jeffs about people complaining about being wronged and oppressed. The way I look at it this site is like a tv you don't watch a show you dislike or call the network about it. Sorry if you thought I was telling you to leave.

Thanks, I think I'll do that, I dought I'll post in this topic again. I just think it was blown way out of proportion, even though I know I deserved it and should of saw it coming. I don't konw why I even did the post anyway, I'm sorry for any trouble I've cause and I don't care about it anymore. Look for me on other topics.

Hahahaha... who said I was a "gay man set in his ways?" That's a good time.
C-Playa actually said it best, and it's a point I wish people would get more often: "This site or my coaster-riding hobby doesn't validate me--my wife, children, home, work and friends do." Granted I don't care much for the "work" portion of that statement, and my "children" are the kids I coach, but overall the same still applies.
Stephanie and I were out in the woods camping this weekend, taking in nature. I find the world a much more sad place when I come back and find nonsense like this.

...the only validation they actually find is that they truly are nobody--and the same boring feckless nobody they are in the real world. Confronted once again with the fact that they're nobody, their next pathetic effort is to lash out at the somebodies around them. Perhaps by cutting the somebodies to size, they imagine they will cease to be a nobody.
The nobodies live and walk among us. I actually read a post today where someone did exactly what I said a nobody would do--even when shown in advance they would do it. How funny is that? Who said this was a theory? I think Mohammed, Confucius and Nostradamus all just called me uncle.
You can't make stuff up that funny--okay, funny in a Archie-Bunker's-so-dim-he-doesn't-realize-he's-a-laughinstock funny. Most hilarious thing I've ever read!

Funnier yet, that was the best he could do...he had to build up to it. Oooooh, so earthshaking in its originality. No one's ever said that before. Zzzzzzzzz.
Oh, wait a minute...I was vacuuming out the new Windstar I bought Playette last week and there was lint involved. She picked the color (red), the options (DVD player) and I make the payments. That counts, doesn't it?

Mark,
And it's amazing that people still say things like THAT as well. Why don't we all just move backwards instead of forwards. I hope your white hood catches on fire while you're burning crosses, Dork.

Geez, I didn't think anyone would miss that one.
For the record, I was being completely sarcastic. It would have been really rough for me as a racist in college, what with being a Jazz Studies major and all-you'd be amazed how few white people I studied, admired, and basically copied ;)

OOOPS...Sorry again. Sometimes I don't know WHAT'S going on. It's rather difficult to know what people are talking about around here. I can't here the tone of anyones voice.
Racism really get me flaming mad sometimes. I didn't see what was really going on.
