Improving Geauga Lake Standards

Avalanche Sam, I am going to take your word for it and I am going to be making my first trip to GL this summer.
How will it work for guest who want to go to the wave pool on the GL side then want to go to the new water park? Will the guest have to change back into street ware to walk to the otherside of the park and then rechange back into their swin suit to attend the new waterpark. It seems inconvient. It will be confusing to guest.
i would assume that they would have to put shoes on (and shirt) and just take the Ferry Boat across

I think Pete is probably right. The ferry will most likely be the most convenient way to get to the other side of the lake from the wave pool. Based on park rules, you will most likely need to cover your swim-wear and put on sandals or shoes when going between the two water areas.

But since I am not a full time staff member (yet, hopefully), this is only my guess, and you should refer to the park for the official rules.

Throwing on a shirt and shoes and taking the ferry boat is fine by me. It won't be that big of a deal. It will be fairly simple to have people walk, say from the calypso creek side entrance to the ferry dock.

Having to actually walk out of the waterpark just to get to the large slide tower was retarded last year. Hell, the placement of that tower was seemingly spontainious since it seemd to blurr the line between the actual ride park, and the waterpark. That just goes to show SF's careless planning and how they just throw things where they may.

Lots of people were upset that you had to actually go into the waterpark to ride the monarail and sky scraper. More poor customer satisfaction.

The first thing CF had in mind was to get that tower out of there, and place it on the other side. They knew it was terrible planning.

I love Thunder Falls, I just hated getting to it. Now it will be fully enjoyable, and actually feel like a part of the waterpark instead of feeling like your just weaving through a bunch of rides until you splash down in a pool that seemed alienated from the rest of the waterpark.
