Hyperlink Frustration

Are you also using MacOS?

I use MacOS at home but at work I use Windows. I'm currently experiencing the issue on Windows and don't remember it happening at home.

tall and fast but not much upside down

OK, there may be some caching issues, but those goofy context menus should eventually go away.

Spell check is working fine for me here on CoasterBuzz now. Strange.

It's not that strange, I reconfigured the editor.

Got a new issue with hyperlinks. Just tried editing the original post in the Coasterbuzz Memes thread (to add the "Sucks." inception). I typed "Sucks.", then highlighted the word, clicked the hyperlink button and pasted the URL. It looks like it should, until I click Post or Preview. For some reason it shows the entire URL (as a hyperlink) in front of the word "Sucks." instead of just posting the word as a hyperlink.

Like this:

http://coasterbuzz.com/Forums/ForumPhoto/PhotoDetail/kings-dominion...2?p=864820]Sucks.

I got it to work somehow, but today I checked and apparently it pasted the wrong URL. AH! I think I know what's going on. The actual link that works has two instances of https://, I guess because of how web.archive.org handles links to old pages. Is there any way to change this so it posts correctly?

Never mind. Tinyurl.com to the rescue.

That's interesting. Yeah, I don't have any test cases for multiple instance of protocols in the URL (and I have a lot of test cases for text parsing). I logged a bug.
