I found this on the Holiblog this morning:
"If you're not able to be with us in person, please join us via our UStream Channel . Air-time (couldn't resist the pun) is 11am CDT. Of course, we'll also post the ride information and some very cool animation on the Holiday World & Splashin' Safari website."
Air time eh?
With hints about "vertical wooden stakes", "air-time", and first of it's kind in the world, is a wooden coaster with a 90 degree vertical drop too crazy of a guess?
From Facebook
"You're itching for another hint, aren't you? Okay, here's one: we're going to gain a new record and give up an old one with the ride we're announcing tomorrow."
List of World Records Holiday World holds that I could find:
Voyage: The Voyage provides the most air-time of any wooden coaster: 24.2 seconds (anything less than +.25 vertical G’s, average front/middle/back seats).
Record five underground tunnels, including eight “underground moments”
and a triple down” feature in one of the return-run tunnels.
Wildebeest: World’s Longest Water Coaster
Zoombabwe: World’s Largest Enclosed Water Slide
Pilgrims Plunge:World’s Tallest Water Ride

Any others? I'm thinking maybe the tunnel one is the one they will break?
Wake me when they announce it.
Seen this on another forum.
Werne says the ride will be the first of its kind in the world and will be ready for the park's 2012 season.
Please don't let it be an Intamin...oh wait, it will be ready by opening 2012, that leaves Intamin out.
If what I seen was real, it isn't an Intamin....and is very similiar to something in the park already.
There was a leak/accidental early release of what was slugged as an alleged video of the new attraction. Said video has since been removed.
Therefore no way of knowing if the video presented was genuine until the announcement, but it will be in the back of my head.
And that's about all I'll say, especially in consideration of all the nice things the park has done for members of this website over the years at the fall event.

Paula posted this on the FB page about the video. It wasn't removed, or it was removed and re uploaded and put as private until the announcement.
Thanks very much! Our web designer thought everything was locked up. I saw it right before I went to bed (I have to be back at the park at 4:30am) and now I'm wide awake. :(
For the dry park, they are adding on the calendar and will be having a Halloween Event and be open longer (into October more).
For the water park, the worlds longest water coaster (Mammoth), it will feature six person tubes that will spin.
While I understand the need to add another water coaster to help with the lines on Wildebeest, I was hoping for at least a little something for the dry park.
Yes, they are adding a couple of extra weekends and some Halloween theming and even some trails. I didn't hear anything about haunts though. I don't really see them ever adding anything in that direction.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
Well, I lose. But not really, because Mammoth looks great! I can't wait to experience it next year.
However, I do hope that they will soon add on to the Holiday World side of the park...it has seemed to be getting the "stepchild" treatment over the past few seasons.

I kinda figured it out after yesterdays clue. Taking away a record from another of our attractions. I didn't know about the round boats.
Just remember, What helps the water park, Eventually helps the Dry Side and we've already been surveyed on a Steel coaster, Any guesses to 2012s announcement?
Well, we were right about the spinning at least. I never would have seen this coming. This ride is aptly named. I can't wait to try it out. :-)
