There are a great many people in the industry who have no desire to do business with them again, for a number of reasons, some of which have little to do with the rides themselves.
Ah, gotcha. Well Six Flags certainly seems done with them, which is a shame, because they really do build great rides.
The more I think about it, the spinner mouse does seem like a real possibility.
Well Paula was quoted in that article, I believe, saying that we're familiar with the new attraction but it has a unique twist. A first of its kind.
Can't find the article now. Paula...help with that?
I always though splinter would be their next coaster.... Until I saw wooden warrior. You have to think that will be their next wooden coaster anyway.

But not for 9 million LOL
Not for 9 million... Correct.
Although from what I have heard about Wooden Warrior, and Twister. It would be worth 9 million before whatever it is they are getting for 9 mill.
I'm betting on spinning coaster, and new slides with a drop out floor. Did no research on whether the $$ match up.
I figure whenever they decide to add another section to the park we will have months to guess what "holiday" will be represented next. I think last time I was convinced it was "Valentine's Day" but I was way off. ;)
I always thought a spinning mouse coaster would fit the park perfectly but I am probably way off on that, too. Whatever it is I am sure it will be awesome. :)

There are few families I would trust with running a park more than the Koch family. In fact, there are none.
I don't know what they're adding, but I'm sure it will be a perfect fit. Besides, they've already got enough to keep myself coming back!

*Sighs* I sure do miss Anton :)
I'm sure it's not a coincidence, knowing your love for the man..that you posted this on the 10th anniversary of his passing...July 30, 2001.
Or maybe it was just karma?
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

I have often wondered why more water coasters have never been built... (ala Roller Soaker at Hershey)
Because they suck?
I am now convinced that the park is adding a giant "coaster" wheel...like Deno's Wonder Wheel.
-Daniel
^Hoping, *if* that turns out to be true, they go for more Deno's and less DCA. :)
Oh, and I'm thinking you're close...but my guess is a Giant Wheel with spinning cars (like on Teacups rides)...although I'd kinda prefer the skyride idea - since I'm essentially lazy. ;)
Id love to have a denos type wheel with back to back seating and open cars OTSR's of course but I think you'd be able to do it and still have clearance. Might have to make the wheel a little wider. Why not Tickle Paula's fancy and let em spin as well as swing :) Or you could put Tornado cars on it :)
