HW 2009

Yes I know they did, but what more could you possibly do to it other than track work? Extend it? Thats not exactly marketable or money well spent.

The blog post they were refering to(23rd) ends with the "new ride giving them a leg up on the competition." Somehow that doesnt scream Raven improvements to me. Paula just mentioned parking in the Raven lot. *** Edited 8/25/2008 1:31:31 PM UTC by RushStreetFlyer***

There's nothing in there that really sounds like Raven upgrades to me. But given HW's propensity to indulge our nerdiest coaster enthusiast curiosities they could be getting new shelves for loose articles and half of us would bounce up and down with glee at the news.

But matt...it has to be Raven. I mean there are NO OTHER big black birds! Well sure there are vultures...even crows...but not in Indiana! lol
I was referring to the point Paula made in the blog about a big black bird swooping down to grab a chicken leg. When I read that, I assumed Paula to be referring to the Raven.

Then again, the comment could just be a red herring. Paula did say if the incident were a dream, which it wasn't, she would have analyzed it.

Raven's fine the way it is. I'd be disappointed if they DID "upgrade" it by adding more track.
one of the tweets was a reference to biscuits and gravy. While I don't know/care of the origin of the gravy fest here on Coasterbuzz, I do believe the "nothing is random" theory of the Holiblog/Twitter posts.

Could this really be an homage to you gravy lovers, with a huge Chutes type ride, with some variation of "Gravy Boat" in the name? Much like Gonch predicted back on page 4?

Guess we'll know tomorrow.

Although I suspect it's a vertical lift/drop coaster such as Mystery Mine, and/or the new one at Hershey. Although, there's really nothing new in that design that Paula would need to be educated about. So now I've talked myself in a circle. Just going to wait it out until tomorrow.

LOL CreHo...I wouldn't be surprised if it was called Red Herring - The Ride! Oooh that Paula, lol :)

She said something about Christmas in the Twitter today... I bet it is something in the Christmas section! ;)
For those of you that missed it...

From the twitter:

I was just talking to the Indy Star. I did reveal that one person on one of the coaster/park forums got it. Nailed it.

The possibilities have slimmed... some what

Several people here seem to think that when I talk about the Raven being "upgraded," extra track will be added. I don't think Holiday world will modify the track layout. As Matt said, they did a major upgrade to Raven several years ago by adding a second train. All I'm pointing out is that Paula is talking about the Raven.

No she talked about a big black bird and being in the Raven Lot. She also talked about a big black bird before they announced Turkey Whirl.

Or some other black bird such as a crow (they have those in Indiana, ya know).

We also have a plethora of other big black birds too.
Like IB Crow? I think this is another hint at a steel coaster. I still think it could easily be the worlds tallest tilt coaster.

Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.

Did you dream of that?

Giant Flume ride with a vertical (elevator) lift named "Pilgrims Plunge".

(Do I have to give you some credit, Moosh? ;))

Lets not put the horses before the cart...or boats before the drop, if you will lol. First, we don't know if it's CoasterBuzz Paula is referring too. And second, while yes there were a lot of pretty ridiculous guesses around here mine was not the only one that is plausible.

We'll know for sure tomorrow morning :)

^I wasn't saying it as a DEFINITE option, but it does seem to fit every hint...lol

Pure coincidence, Dan.

I hear I.B. Crow is leaving the flock for better things.
