HW 2009

No offense...but how dense are you?

That is it, woohooboy! You cracked it. Yes that totally fits the park.
Yeah, paint it red, yellow, and blue, name it with alliteration and anything fits the park.

Moosh, why do you care, and how do I take that non offensively? Yet, your best guess is a shoot-the-chutes with an elevator lift. Yeah because an elevator is so difficult to explain to Paula. Not to mention your thought of a sky lift being a great idea. So a sky lift to take people around and past all the games and food that make them huge profits, not very logical huh?
IMO since The Voyage is suppose to eventually be the middle of the park, it would not be a bad idea to have high thrill rides in the middle. However, hoffman are you saying that you would not want HW to have the ride, or are you saying you don't think it fits?

BTW, A difficult to explain lift is a Vekoma Tilt Coaster, like Gravity Max which is 114' tall.

Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.

LOL...your entry into this thread reminds me of when a friend of mine sent me an email earlier this year to tell me about "this park in Ohio that built a 400-foot coaster" and ask "did I know about it?"

See, this is how "OMG Magnum is sinking!" and stuff like that gets started.

Nice to know I remind you of a friend. I am glad you think so highly of me. I really appreciate that. However, we will probably both find out Tuesday that we have no idea what we are talking about. I have to admit I wish they were getting the worlds tallest tilt coaster, and a Moser EnergyWinder, but I know thats highly doubtful. I also know that I have no clue, because Paula has got me seriously confused. She did say today that she finished the second fact sheet, and was working on the news release. So we can start guessing for 2 rides.

Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.

I never said I knew what Holiday World & Splashin Safari was getting for 2009. In fact I've said repeatedly in this thread that I am guessing.
A Moser EnergyWinder? What the hell you talkin bout, woohooboy? Link?
Never mind, found it on the Moser website under "art projects". Ummm... just a guess here, too, but... no.

I can't give a direct link it will not work. So directions:
1. Go to moserrides.com
2. select standard or fast connection
3. click on art projects at the top
4. Its the first ride on the top left

Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.
A monorail! From the parking lot to a section close to the waterpark and the theme park!

What he probably meant was that the Thanksgiving area is supposedly(according to Will) going to be the center/mid point of the theme park once they finish their future expansion plans. So I dont think its something that woohooboy made up out of the blue, although I dont have the exact quote out of Will's mouth.

Yes she does.

You read it as something someone said to you in an online forum and move on with your life.

because an elevator is so difficult to explain to Paula.

Some things are very difficult to explain to Paula! I kid! I kid!

And my GUESS is that Moosh is a whole heck of a lot closer than you are.

Indy would put me in position to visit Indiana Beach and Six Flags St. Louis along with Holiday World!

Answer my Prayers, Overbook my next Flight!

Actually, both of those suggestions fit pretty much every hint so far...so therefore, they ARE great ideas! ;)

Working on the second fact sheet. Had to click on "add to dictionary" for the name of the thing.

(From Twitter)

So I'm thinking that the 2nd fact sheet was for Splashin' Safari's new addition, because of the unusual name...

Or the name of the special new service.

Right, and the quote before had someone saying that if all of the available land *were* developed then Voyage would be in the middle of the park, which is a much different thing. I'm not saying I know what was said one way or the other but there have been countless rumors and mistruths started by people misstating what is said at enthusiast events. I just think we should put a temper on this sort of thing, especially when folks honestly come into threads like this predicting parks like HW getting dueling B&Ms or whatever. It only leads to disappointment from over-hype, and it's certainly not any fault of the park.

From the blog update on the 23rd, she seems to be hinting that Raven is getting some sort of upgrade. When Paula states that they want to get a "leg up," perhaps Turkey Legs will be added to the menu? (if not already)
^Riiiiight, like the park is going to invest millions into the 13 year old coaster that put them on the map. Why fix what ain't broke? "Come ride Raven, now with an extra turn!!!!"
matt.'s avatar
A few years ago they spent, maybe not millions, but a big chunk of change to add a 2nd train to Raven complete with new transfer track and building to hold said transfer track.
