How about a Dollywood event?

Try the catered food. I was insistent on doing a catered lunch because the food there is always great and the prior year we were moved from a catered lunch to the buffet restaurant with our own room. I assumed the next year we were still getting the same food as the restaurant because it would still be buffet but even with warnings (including an ACE regional rep) I had a catered lunch. Wouldn't do it again. That same ACE rep does meal vouchers now as well for Dollywood events instead of catered lunch.

I'm sure there are some that were present both times that could chime in here. There were between 20-30 people both years and some are/were Buzzers.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Just space it out from HWN ;-). A two week buffer would be nice so that I don't do 2 trips in one pay day.

Maybe it's because you were talking about catering in your other posts. But I read this and thought you wanted a two week buffet.

Just make sure y'all wear your shirts inside out.

I was at both of Clint's DollyWood events in question. The buffet at Aunt Granny's was amazing! The catered lunch the following year sucked. We all thought it was going to be the same food as the year before. It was not. The park has amazing food everywhere else, but that catered lunch was just food, not a delicious memory of the trip like Aunt Granny's buffet.

Long live the Big Bad Wolf

We were down there last year, but we might be up for another trip depending on when it's scheduled. My daughter is playing travel softball next year so we won't have many weekends available from April - the first week of August.

Any updates on this Jeff?

This (potential) event along with others got me to buy a Dollywood season pass for the first time. :-)
