I would like a B&M Sitdown looper with a new take on the 2nd Generation Hyper Trains.

O.K. little Ricky, now get off of Santa's lap.

I don't know who's with me here, but I'm beginning to think July 24th can't come soon enough...

I'm with you here. Seriously, I'm anxious. It wouldn't surprise me if HW ordered something a little out of the ordinary for a B&M, like a good combination of inversions and airtime. Most of them seem to do one or the other.

Followed by 9 more months of construction watch and "I know, they're building a Starbucks" jokes.

Yep. There's a definite parallel between 66daysatsea and this thread...

I think this is a distinct possibility given the park's apparent interest in taking enthusiast suggestions into consideration. If B&M, I could see the ride ending up like one of their more unique European installations.

Add in new B&M restraints like the ones on Helix (pipedream, perhaps) and you could have something truly special.

Launching B&M? It would be their first. I'm not counting The Hulk.

Logan, that looks like an Intamin design. Especially the track?

Tekwardo's avatar

Why? It's a launched B&M.

Shawn, gerstlauer and Mack both use that track type.

Oh sorry dude. I thought maybe he posted the wrong link. My bad, I'll go away for a bit.

It's actually a Mack coaster. Perhaps I should have worded that last bit differently.

B&M should copy Mack's restraints as they look to be pretty stellar designs that allow upper body freedom.

I actually like the new B&M restraints, i'm kind of hoping Kentucky Kingdom get's some Banshee type trains for T3 next year.

That's not going to happen. B&M trains aren't even remotely compatible with the old Vekoma track.

I meant restraint wise. Obviously the B&M trains are too wide for SLC's.

Oh no... They can indeed get B+M style trains for T3.

They just need to do a little retrofitting to the track.

With a bulldozer.

And some Swiss dudes.

Vekoma offers a train for the SLCs that are kinda similar to the B&M restraints. I think it's the same restraint as the newer boomerang trains.

The Great Nor'Easter at Morey's has some decent vest-style shoulder restraints. It really helps with the roughness of the track.

I'd hazard a guess that the new train, Morey's style, would be main difference we see between T2 and 3.
I've been on one of those new Boomerang trains somewhere. Carowinds maybe? Anyway, I found it to be quite comfortable.
