Holiday World 2015

(Not as relevant as I don't see this happening for years to come.) I've also been hearing from inside sources that they plan on shutting down the Raven parking lot, and expanding the Legend lot. Also, moving the employee parking lot across the road from where it currently sits and expanding the park into the existing lot. Which to me sounds iffy because HR is below Gobbler Getaway. Unless HR is also moved, and the downstairs repurposed.

If they close the Raven lot and everyone walks in through the tunnel, will HW have to pay a royalty to Kennywood since they own the IP on that concept?

So, the footers are coming along great. Saw two being poured today. They were some hefty footers. Talked to a high ranking employee today. My cousin said his badge read, "Vice President." But he asked me some interesting questions. He asked me who my favorite manufacturer was and "IF" it was a steel coaster or not, who would I prefer for Holiday World. Very nice guy and It was awesome how sort of open he was to talk about it. He wouldn't reveal details on anything, nor did I ask or beg him to.

The construction site looks awesome, y'all... The machines come very close to hyena falls queue and the pathway

Yeah, but the Lemon Chill guy promised me that it was an invert. And it doesn't go much higher than that.

I'm assuming that was an attempt to mock my dialect. I'm from the south. Yes. Thank you for noticing. After a rough day of 1 hour sleep, then spending 11 hours at a theme park is tiring. I just thought I would post what I saw that day. Little did I know, my over exhausted brain had led me to believe that I was typing in a formal manner. Nope. If you should request, I would be more than happy to fix my grammatical errors and carry on.

Perhaps you need to get another hour of sleep.

I don't disagree with that.

No actually, I wasn't mocking you at all. In fact, if you thought really hard, you probably know who I am in real life and would know that I am as excited as all get out.

Oh my God, I think I do know you...

Yes I thought you might. After being a ride operator for 7 years and in foods for 2 at that park, I have met a lot of people. Chances are if you worked at the park within the last decade, you probably do know me. Working there was awesome and I would not trade it for the world.

Anyway, how about that new something or other that they are building?

Also, just so everyone that doesn't stalk me knows, I no longer work at the park and I love my job across the street. I haven't a clue what they are going to announce and when I saw Paula the other day and tried to get her to talk, she gave me more magnets.

It's pretty much known it's a steel coaster. (or a really, really, really big water slide. [Doubt it.] From what you can see right now, it's going to be long, curvy, and might possibly soar higher up than I had originally thought. There's footers everywhere in the clearing that do make a visible path. Most of the footers are square, and the plates on top are sort of Octagonal shape with 6 rods in a certain pattern. Some of the uncovered footers without the plates have sort of almond shaped holes cut out. That's about all I can make out. I'm probably gonna make another map just so I can clarify. They also turned on Plunge's pumps the other day and the VP just sat out there and watched for a bit. It's probably nothing special with the pumps except maybe to move around the stagnant water.

I am not saying you are wrong, but no one knows except those that are in the loop. Paula did mention something about not being able to watch the animation of this thing because it made her queasy. That's not saying much, but it does bode well that there is a full blown animation.

Paula gets queasy when she walks slowly past the Scarecrow Scrambler! :-)

I will say this for her. She will always take one for the team and try that new ride, whatever it is, at least once. Maybe not more than once, but at least once!

So there is undoubtedly an animation. One step closer.

So, after searching for a while at footers, these are almost identical to the ones currently in the clearing. with the 6 rods and almond shaped holes in the middle.

*EDIT* These are Banshee's footers, but I'm saying they look an awful lot like HW 2015's

Wow! A little overkill, but that's gonna be one solid Dragon Wagon.

Or Maverick.

The photo is of Banshee I think.

So am I allowed to say those footers look like B&M footers without being told 62 reasons why no one could possibly know just by looking at footers?
